View Full Version : Getting Pregnant on the mini pill?!

I was just curious to weather u can get pregnant while on the mini pill and still breastfeeding? I don't think I am pregnant or anything, we just want to be extra careful. If u can, how would u know because I still havent got my period back since my lil man was born?! Just curious!!

Well I got preggie on the regular pill and my friend got preggie while still bf so anything is possible LOL :D

Be extra careful and abstain from sex if you dont want to get preggie LOL only joking we use condoms to be extra safe.

How will you know if your preggie?????

Wait 9 months and Im sure you'll know LOL Im sorry feeling cheeky today :D

I guess just look out for the regular preggie signs, Morning sickness, sore breasts, wanting to pee, strange cravings...................I cant think of any more at the moment.

yup, i know you definelty can! Matilda was concieved whilst on the mini pill and whilst i was bf Cooper, he had cut down to only about 2 feeds a day though and i think that probably affected its affectivness. so if your little one cuts down on feeds, the mini pill really isnt enough! :)

The thing with the mini pill (and I NEVER got on top of it) is that you have to take it at the same time every day - like within 3 hours or something. We were always using condoms because I would forget. I'm back on the normal pill now and still not in the swing of it and DD2 is 19 months old :eek: .

I wasn't bf'ing but I was on the mini pill (and taking it properly) cos I can't take the regular one and yup I got pregnant

I was b/f and taking mini pill and fell pregnant. I now have two 11 months apart, so make sure you are very careful or use another form of protection as well. :)
