Josh slept through the night!! YEAH!! :smiliedance: He fed at 9:20pm, went down by shortly after 10 and woke up at 6am! AND, I actually slept for 8 hours too! I fall asleep quickly and only got up once at 3:30am and went straight back to sleep. Of course, he's still awake now - an hour after he woke up, but I don't care :)

At this rate I'll have no excuse not to do the housework

YAY JOSH!! Hope its the start of many mim :fingerscrossed:

Karrina: hows Billy today? hope hes all better whatever it is/was :hugs:

Hels: Yep K has been watching so intently when we eat, I thought a taste was in order, will only let her taste for next 3 weeks then slowly introduce solids at 4 months, helps the reflux im told? ( and even then slowly as ) plus they say once bubs is showing interest is when to start. forgot she also had kfc potato/gravy last week, just a smidgen on my finger, ( pre-diet me last feast lol ) and she thought that was great too!

Last night: Same again! though 4 am not 3am, stirring, enough to get up and comfort/give dummy. again at 5 so we went on the lounge and fell asleep together till 730am
She didnt feel cold, she felt just right. so I dont know...just hope whatever it is passes soon. I could use 8hrs straight sleep lol

hope all bubs slept well, and mums too!

well after two blissful nights when we were interstate about a fortnight ago- alexander has not wanted to sleep through the whole night. he goes down at about 6-7pm and always wakes up at 2am and then 6am.. I a, sure he will eventually get there.

re startle reflex- eg feeling like he is going to fall.. he often does it when I in car or when I have lifted him up and have him away from my body- I thought he was doing a poo initially..!

Afternoon girlies,

Cate...:hugs: good to hear nirther of you were hurt in the accident.
SammyG...I think this is the reason why I haven't had any professional photo's done yet. They always take so many good ones.
Flicka...LOL at toilet trining. Don't you just love the inbetween stage:laughing: .
2cute....100 questions a minute. I know exactly how you feel. Now I think before mentioning something I've seen while driving/out as it results in a million questions for the next few days.
Aries...love the new avatar pic of X. He's beautiful!
Hels...Smiling while feeding can both eb annoying an cute at the same time. At 3am I find it more annoying than anything. The other day I had TJ on my lap while talking to DH on the phone. She thought I was talking to her so was having a huge conversation with me.
As for my garden, I seem to just find time to water the pot plants and do a bit of maintenance in the back garden, but the front's looking a mess. Dread autumn/winter with my huge frangipani losing it's leaves.
Mim1...Although everything says teething doesn't cause the symptoims Karrina described, you may find it does. I know DD1 had all those symptoms when she was teething.
Sugar...What's a mop? I figure I've got until TJ starts crawling before I need to mop the floor again:rolleyes:  .

A better night last night. Have been giving TJ a bit of Farax before bed, so she has returned to the 8 hour sleeps at night. Still not having big feeds during the day, will ask the CHN about it if I ever get around to visiting her again.

Someone said last week how they let their bub have day sleeps in the lounge room etc ( Hels I think it was ? ) Today I let K sleep pram in lounge room and my bed (nap with me ) and shes gone hrs+ each time!! I put her down the cot and she complained for the first time, finally asleep to wake 15 mins later so off to nap with me. Sometimes I put her in the pram and she always slept ages so today it was everywhere but the cot in her room. So Tuesday am off to buy the porta-cot that i have been postponing so can have her here in lounge and she can sleep tummy/side whatever. I dont like to side sleep her in cot as shes wrapped so no way to straighten up if face firsts but I can if right here to check her often. It makes sense they'd get bored of that same room I know I would if spent that much time in it.OR on her back all the time must be the pits too. Plus it gets known as the night sleep room = ALL NIGHT?? :fingerscrossed::fingerscrossed::fingerscrossed:
anyhow, thankyou for that great tip!

shes been asleep my bed ( side sleeping ) for over 3 hrs now, this morning in pram was 2hrs

HI:wave:
am getting much more into a routine here and LOVING IT!! Maybe its just that I started recording his feeds/sleeps on a chart and can see the patterns.

Oh of course state you have a routine and then it goes. He missed a feed last night, the 10pm one..and as a result had such painful (.)(.)s, expressed enough to just to stop the discomfort. But just about begged him to wake up

Mim1 so great and I'm v happy about yr sleep through..can't remember if yr still bfing.

Karrina, yep sometimes the b-f all gets too much doesn't it! Well the desription of the milky/poo-ey bed. Yup can understand, I have been lucky on the latter to date.. I don't imagine you were too lazy, as you wrote, just too sleepy :) On work, I do about 10hrs a week I reckon..and maybe a bit more, which is the extra driving to/from building sites/hardware shop/post office etc. am sure you can do it, but make sure you do whats comforatble for you :)

oops disappeared a bit fast without writing anything else..may appear in new thread in a mo!

We went to a new Baby Bunting store at Fountain Gate today and being the impulsive person that I am, well I bought a new pusher. We should have put more thought into buying the first one as I now wanted one where he can face me, which is what we have bought.
I really love the new one and R does too, he is asleep in it right now! I wheeled him around in the family room tonight (during his arsenic hour) until he dropped off to sleep lol.
The other one that we have will be better for when he's older and it can also take a toddler seat, so we will keep it for if/when we have another bub.

After that we went to the flower and garden show in the city. It was a nice sunny day to walk around so we had a good time although I still get quite sore if I walk too much.

Tabby - Great to hear that Katie is sleeping better being around you. My view is that R's basinette and bedroom is for his night time sleeps. Although when he is older he will have his afternoon nap in there too. But I will introduce that when he is in his big boy cot :)

Hels - Not sure where you are in Melbourne. I have just had DD hands and feet done. It is in Dingley. The lady was fantastic and she can take photos there for you as well. I will get all the photos she took on a disc for $25. I think thats a bargain and then I can print what ever I want in whatever size for over half the price of pixi etc. Let me know if you want more info.

Hope everyone had a good night. We are still up at 1 and 5. So hoping this will change soon.

Had needles done on Saturday. She screamed so badly. This is the first time one of my kids has screamed so badly. Having said that when i took the covers off there was so much blood for such a little needle. Dont think I will be going to that doctor again. Poor little thing. She seems Ok now.

Speaking off just woken up . More later.

Hels: I wanted a reverse handle pram for that reason too. Took me months to find one here!

victoria: :hugs: for bubs and you for the needles.
I chose my gp for that, hes wonderful with needles but lacking in other things, so we just go to him when its needles. argh only another 3 weeks and more due!

Well Katie was shocking last night. grumbling and tossing and turning ALL night from 12.20am onwards. I cant figure out whats wrong :(
I do hope shes not teething already. Tis about the only thing I can think of that it could be.
She's the usual happy self rest of the time but come sleep shes grumbly as. Maybe just enough to be uncomfortable?
I just dont know. Have exhausted everything else.
Tho only things showing that are runny poos now and lots of dribble and chewing my finger or hers ( definetly chewing not sucking it )
