Anyone from Kuraby, Eight Mile Plains, Runcorn areas?

I am 26, with a 6 1/2 mth old son. I live with my husband and son in Kuraby. I will be working part time from March but am looking to get my son some interaction with some other babies around his age and some interaction for me too with other mums. If anyone is out there and in the same situation please drop me a line or if you know of any good playgroups in the area, that too would be great.

Hi Bailey's Mum,
I live on the Southside at Salisbury - I have a 20 month old son Boston. I went back to work for one year (when Boston was 7 months until he was 19 months). I am now at home full time and trying to fill in my day's with activities for both Boston and myself. I have joined the Acacia Ridge YMCA Playgroup - which has been great. I am looking at Kindermusic at Gymboree at Sunnybank. I have also started going to the Garden City Library Story Time they have for kids at 10.30 on Wednesday's. Even though I am keeping busy it is difficult to make new friends. Have you found any activities that have been enjoyable for you and your son??

Hi Bailey's Mum. I am 24 and have a 3 month old daughter. I want to join a playgroup as well as meet mums in my situation. I live in the Browns Plains area with my husband, and whilst I wait for his return in the afternoons, I would love to have a conversation with someone who I can relate to, rather than having a conversation with my daughter all day!
