My home made pocket leaks!!

I had Sasha's home made pocket on him today and it leaked he had it on for roughly 2 hrs and the wee went straight through,he had a stuffer and a microfibre cloth in it,i dont know what material the stuffer is but im guessing i have to wash it a few times right?:confused::banghead:

if its hemp yes you have to wash it quite a few times

If it isn't hemp or bamboo, it just might not be an absorbant enough material- meaning you can only use it for a short time.

Can you try a hemp/bamboo stuffer to see if there is a difference? :detective:

I found what material it is:
2 layers of Hemp/Cotton fleece overlocked together with variagated thread

So i probably have to wash it a few times.

yep if its got hemp in it is needs around 10 hot washes to reach full absorbancy

Two layers isn't alot... I have a heavy wetter and need about 6-8 layers to get 2-3 hours.

I didnt think it was hemp so i didnt wash it,im all new to this.

But that will be your problem- just wash it at least 3 times to increase absorbancy and you'll be set! :yes: :thumbsup: :yelclap:

it'll be prewashed a few times then before it was sewn.

Bits for bots is one of my most fave mcn brands- very good quality- so I am even more certain that if you wash it a few times you will be fine :yes: :thumbsup: :D
