Hi All,

I was wondering if anyone had the same thing as me... I have been reading in pregnancy books that leucorea (hope I spelt that right) towards the end of your pregnancy is meant to get heavier.... mine seems to belighter with 10 weeks to go ... has anyone else experienced the same???

Without being too blunt - leukorrhea (which still isn't spelt right I don't think) is vaginal discharge.

I didn't have that experience (had the opposite). If it is something that you are worried about ask your midwife or doctor - they get asked all sorts of things and won't be embaressed.

Do you mean vaginal discharge?

I havn't heard of that getting lighter, odd!

Be interesting to hear if this has happened to others.


Mine got really heavy, silly me at one point thought my waters had broken but no it was just discharge. :o

Oh I thought so but I didn't want to look like a goose if I replied about discharge and it wasn't!!

Mine was very light most of the way through my pg with DD2, towards the end for about 2 weeks it was just about non-existant but my body more than made up for it for the 3 weeks before she was born.

I checked with my middy and she said the same old, we are all different but still noted it in my file and asked me about it a couple of weeks later, so I would mention it to your dr or carer.

From memory mine also eased up with a little while to go but then came on really heavy just before the end where i had my show.
But as the others have said i would be telling your midwife or doctor as its better to be safe :)

Sorry i cant help you with this cause i had heaps at the end of my pg. It was that bad that i had to wear a liner in my underwear. (sorry for TMI)
