We have ours marinated in soy sauce, sweet chilli and lemon juice, with a bit of garlic :chef: .

This recipe calls for wings, but I always use drumsticks.

Crispy Baked Chicken Wings

Serving size: Serves 2
Cooking time: Less than 60 minutes

INGREDIENTS

4 large chicken wings
1 tablespoon oil
¼ cup fresh white breadcrumbs
2 tablespoons plain flour
1 tablespoon dry taco seasoning mix

METHOD

Place chicken wings in a small plastic bag. Pour in the oil then toss chicken in the oil until lightly coated. Add breadcrumbs, flour and taco seasoning mix. Seal the bag securely.

Toss again until chicken wings are thoroughly coated with breadcrumb mixture. Place chicken wings evenly on a baking tray. Bake in a preheated 190°C for 30 minutes.

Turn chicken wings over and cook for a further 20 to 25 minutes or until golden brown, crisp and cooked through.

Serving Suggestion:

Serve the chicken wings with a Crunchy Chunky Salad.

This consists of cherry tomatoes cut in half, a seeded, peeled cucumber cut into large chunks, snow peas cut in half and carrot sticks all sitting in a lettuce leaf.

oj, diced shallots, white balsamic dressing, honey (or brown sugar), and chopped fresh thyme. marinade in for 2 hours then just cook low in marinade in oven until nearly done save the juices etc and bbq the drumsticks to perfection and pour over juices on to drumsticks in serving dish.
