Hi - you are certainly not alone - hubby and I moved to Mororo (10 minutes up the road from Maclean) in the hope of a more peaceful lifestyle and also to start a family. Well it took us a little longer than we expected but Oscar finally appeared Jan 29 this year!. Like you and I there are many other families that have moved to this beautiful part of the world from Sydney and Brisbane and other cities. The local playgroup and the Health Centre (in the CWA rooms) are a great start to meeting other mums. I have met one lady in particular (from Sydney) who has an 8 month old girl you may be interested in catching up with. I am due to return to work in 8 weeks - 4 days a week and hubby is to be a stay at home dad - not exactly the way we planned it but has got to be the way for the time being. We have no family support here at present so more emphasis is on meeting new people - one downside to a small town is that some people are reluctant to meeting new people but we certainly don't regret the move. Welcome!!!!
