oooo. thank you for starting this thread i was wondering the same thing. I have been looking on there aswell. There is one place that you can return the dress as long as it isn't custom made. Some others will allow for return if it isn't made to how u want it. But i would also like to know if anyone has bought one and if they have been happy with it

A friend of mine just bought one and I had a look at it the other day.

It looks really nice and she said the lady was very friendly and was happy to make alterations to the dress that wern't displayed on the add. She got a lace up back added to her dress.

She is really happy with it and only paid $250, I think it came in the mail within 2-3weeks too so they were very fast.

Goodluck

I got mine for about $200 all up and it was custom made from China. I needed a little alteration as i was 7 months preg when i received it but they held off for a few months before making it because they wanted it to fit right but i seemed to have grown in the three weeks in between sending them my measurements to receiving it lol. The seller i used was china-ekt (mods pls remove if not appropriate)

I think perhaps the scariest thing is not being able to see how it fits on you until you've already paid for it.

I mean, I don't know if I'll get a dress made or what... but I'd at least like to try on a similar-style dress before I go ordering one. I'd be WAY to scared to do that (and photos always look different to what they look like close-up).

I haven't bought one from the Asian stores but did purchase my wedding dress on ebay via an American store (who was actually the manufacturer). I just made sure to doublecheck my measurements and also pay via paypal then you can't be ripped off. My wedding dress plus postage came to about $350 AUD and was gorgeous - had stacks of handbeading on it. It needed $50 worth of alterations (too long which is only normal) and the dressmaker said that in Australia you couldn't replace it for under $1000.
