Canberra Storm???

I was just curious to see if ne body had ne damage to their homes/cars/workplaces in last nights storm?
I am origonally from canberra as is DP and our whole family lives there and we havn't heard ne thing about it till today when i got an email from a friend of mine with amazing pics of the storm?

It is just crazy i can't believe the amount of hail that come down!!:eek:

most of civic was in lock down as the canberra centre the new part was caved in as well as academy night club and the the new movies that are there it was crazy in civic today.

No damage at home but ANU was closed as was the Civic shopping centre. Work was fun as I work for a lift company & so many of them were effected from the storms in Civic, my poor techs were running around like chooks with no heads.

Oh gezz! this is just crazy, well MIL works in civic, she sent through an MMS picture to DP's phone tonight just show the carnage! i'm in disbelief!

I'm in West Belconnen and while we got a doozy of a storm, there was no hail at all. A friend in Tuggeranong had similar (no hail), and Fyshwick had no hail. It appears to have been very concentrated - but the damage and mess is incredible!
