Do I ask my Dad........

I am getting married in just 6 weeks time and we are having a fairly casual backyard bbq kinda thing.

It is my second marriage so my dad has already walked me down the isle before. I will be walking down a path with rose petals with my kids and DP kids.

So the big question is do I get my dad to walk me down the isle again? I am not sure where tradition stands on this issue :confused:

Any advice or ideas would be great!:)

I think this one is up to you.
If you would like him too then ask if not then don't.
I'm not sure if there is any tradition as such but I'd say you gotta do what makes you happy, no regrets :D

I think I will talk to Dad about it and see if he wants to. He probably will, I'm just worried it will add too much formality to the ceremony when we are really trying to keep it short and simple.

I'd just do what you are planning here - shows your family and DP's family coming together (especially the kids).
