MJ had gone off her solids lately, well the spoon actually. She has always liked Vaalia babyyougurt, but again clenches her mouth shut if the spoon heads her way. Someone suggested putting the yoghurt in a cup for her, we did & she loved it.
Is there a problem doing it this way, rather than spoon feeding her?
Also how can i feed her if she wont eat off a spoon, should i let her feed herself?

Hey:)
If she'll take yoghurt that way and can handle it then I dont think there would be a problem:) Whatever works yk? Probably just make sure you rinse out the mouthpiece thingy straight away otherwise it will gunk it up.
She's only little so I wouldnt worry too much about her not gettting many solids at the moment. Whatever has been going on with her lately might just be turning her off her food a bit. If she will feed herself, great! As long as you dont mind the mess lol! Otherwise, dont stress about it...I am sure she will eat again when she's ready...and, besides, she's still getting all that yummy booby milk and that's the most important thing:)
Just a nother thought....Maybe she IS teething and she doesnt like the spoon in her mouth at the moment?? Dunno, grasping at straws....but, there is plenty of time for solids:) Good luck with it.
Oliver went through exactly the same thing and I fed him yoghurt in his sippy cup and he loved it. She will get over it, Oliver did anyway. And now at 16 months he feeds himself everything with a spoon. :)
As long as they eat, I'm not worried. ;)

All i can say is if it works do it ! heheh
I go through stages with my bubs where he refuses to eat his solids then at other times he can finish off two yoghurts in one sitting. I think all you can do is go with what they want pretty much like their milk whether it be breast or formula somtimes they want to drink heaps & others its only a few sips. They eat when they are hungry & as ive been told by clinic nurses as well as the pediatrician they wont let themselves starve. My bubs also goes through stages of not wanting any meats which is no biggie i just offer it every now & then to see whether he will have some. And lastly i think i agree with Ffrenchstar that it may be teething cause my bubs especially refuses food when he is teething & sometimes is too miserable to even have a bottle & i dont blame him. Its been worse lately with him actually cutting two teeth at the once he wouldnt even let me put my finger near his mouth let alone wipe his face after a meal !
