update on my sick baby girl

hey all i couldnt wait any longer i rang the doctor to get my babies blood test result. she has more tests soon but these are the ones i have so far.
she has a thing called leukopenia whitch is a lack of white blood cells.

Leukopenia, as far as I know, is just a symptom of another cause? I could be wrong but I thought Leukopenia was just doc-speak for low white cells, which could be caused by any number of things such as infections etc.
Are they going to do further tests Jess? I hope your little one is on the mend soon.

ETA: Oops, jsut read OP again and saw that you did say they were doing more tests.

from wat my aunty said about her little girl theres a few things and its almost 100% fix able she will always have less then other people and when bugs are going around she'll get very sick but other then that she'll be a healthy little girl so i cnt wait to start her on her trement

thats ok yep more tests soon. they are hoping to find out wat started the loss of it and what infection start al this off.

It is good to hear they have found something and are going to look at it a bit further. Cody is the opposite and has high white cells and low red cells. All they can say is it is caused by infection, but even when he seems well its still the same. Can be frustrating and I hope in your case they find the answers you need. :hugs: Stay strong:hugs:

:hugs: for you i know the feeling my little girl goes for may one or two days great and then gets sick again :thumbsdown: it makes me upset that shes sick but it must be so bad for her. all the mager things they said to watch out for was if she got sore joints as it causes Bone marrow disease, such as leukemia or myelodysplastic syndromes i hope she never gets them
