Roma Street Party Weather

Hi All

As far as I know the weather is meant to clear up next week and Tuesday is meant to be fine!
but we all know you cant tell until you look out your window in the morning, anyway do we need a back up plan???

if the weather is sh***y is everyone prepared to come on the 7th?

please let me know as i would hate for it to go a miss after all the organistion

PARTY IS STILL ON THE 6th of DEC AT THIS STAGE

will confer with you all on Monday to see if weather has cleared up and see what the consensis is!

here is your reminder:
Party is this Tuesday, at Roma Street Park in the playground area at 10.30am. Bring a pressie for your little one/s, wrapped with their name on it to put in the santa sack and a lunch for yourselfs. (pressie between $10-20)
You can bring a xmasie plate to share if you want, but only if you feel like it. Im bringing a xmas cake thingy.
Look for Prams with balloons tied to them, we will be using balloons to identify ourselfs
Hope you and bump and your other wee ones can come too.

Check this thread on Monday morning to make sure weather hasnt spoilt the plans.

Can't make it Wed...But it is going to be fine on Tuesday no more

So far it looks as if it will be hot with the chance of a thunderstorm on Tuesday.
I will be ther on Tuesday but if it does rain I won't be able to make it on Wednessday.

Hopefully tuesday will be fine, should be able to make it Wednesday if it's not. We should all take plenty of water and sunscreen, as the sun has been terribly strong today. Is there enough shade in the playground? I've never been there before. I'm taking a rug to sit on also.

Hi All

ok looks like rain has cleared up! according to the weather forecast this morning its going to be fine and yes its heating up!
Yes there is plenty of shade in Roma street, lots of trees around playground area as far as I can remember.
good thing we are having it mid morning so that if it gets too hot by the arvo we will be gone in the air con! (bit of a ryhme there! lolol)
