My poor little girl has had a shocking time with nosebleeds the last few months! I've just been up with her after another one tonight. We've seen our GP 3 times in the last 3 months and tried antibiotics and nasal creams, but nothing has helped. Thankfully they're not huge gusher bleeds, but are enough to upset her since it happens about 2-3 times a week lately!
I have an appointment to see a ENT specialist, but it's not til 24th April! I don't know what I'll do in the mean time if she keeps having bleeds (they're usually at night so DH and I are lacking in sleep...and of course Aliyah is too - subsequently she is grouchy all the following day.)
You'd think being a nurse I'd have a clue, but I really don't at the moment.....it's just different when it's your own child.
Has anyone else had a similar experience with their child? If so, what did you do? Was it treated with medication, surgery (cauterised) or did it just go away of it's own accord?
