DH and i have been having a few"discussions" latley about our lack of money and how he would really like me to go back to work. Even with me trying to explain that i would just be working to pay for the childcare and wouldnt get us any where.
Anyway yesterday mum can over with a letter that my cousin sent me and inside was a brochure for DIVA cosmetics. I thought this was a great things for me as i am now loopking at becomming a consultant for it but as i have tried 3 other home buisnesses and found them to be to dogdgy or expensive i just wanted to find out if anyone else has had anything to do with this company wither through buying the products or being a consultant. Dh is happy for me to try this out as a buisness again and has even offered to help but i want to make sure its a good option.
Any feed back would be great.

Woah i haven't heard anything about them?
If you could find some info on it, please let me know
Goodluck! :fingerscrossed:
I'm sorry to say that the $170 worth of product I bought from DIVA was C.R.A.P.
One of my good friends started with them after doing The Body Shop At Home for 3 years..she got sick of competing with the retail stores.
So of course I said yes to a party to help her out I bought lots...shampoo, conditioner, moisturiser, etc etc.. It was horrid.
Out of all the stuff I bought there were 2 things I liked.
I would not rebook a party...ever... I was embarrassed because the people I invited spent up and it was soo bad.
Try Lorraine Lea Linen, I had one of their parties just a few weeks ago and it was great. You don't have to collect money or deliver the products like alot of other party plan places.
Good luck

I can put up their web site thats in the broucher... i hope im allowed to do that... i dont work for the or anything yet so i dont think its breaking the rules. www.divacosmetics.com.au
They have some great stuff and its all 95-99% natural as far as i know and its a reasonable price. All reasons why i think its looks like a good oppurtunity plus unlike some of the others i have tried you dont need to buy a certain amount each month yourself(at least i dont think o yet.. will have to see when they ring me)
Sounds almost to good but thats why i wanted to know if anyone has had any dealings with it.

hipee.. what was it about the products that you didnt like... if you dont mind me asking?
Here's the link for the Linen...
I can't tell you how awful that Diva stuff is.

The Shampoo and Conditioner didn't clean my hair and left it limp and greasy. I gave it a chance and used 3/4 of it but tossed it after my scalp broke out with the worst irritation like dandruff I have ever had. When I stopped using it...irritation stopped.
The moisturiser left a greasy residue that clogged my pores, the soap(cinnamon) was foul smelling and also greasy but drying at the same time??
The only things I liked were the tension balm and I think It was a walnut scrub that was great, but in a tiny jar.
Oh and...I had a liquid wash that didn't clean, more residue after I used It I had to use soap to wash the gunge off.

My sister used to work for Diva in the administration side a few years back.
I have used some of the facial creams and the body wash and thought they were great!
Desertness - if you want to know more about the company you can maybe PM her Mummyof2 I know she is still in contact with alot of the girls there!

Hi
I use to work at the head office here in Townsville.
You do have to spend a min of $250 a month, but should get that in one party.
The product is excellent, especially their baby range, i use it on my girls and i have personally used the product and i love it.
(i'm not just staying that because i worked there)
Hippee i'm sorry that you have had a bad experience with the product, did you contact the head office for a refund? As they give 100% money back if the product doesn't suit.
Desertress if you are interested in becoming a consultant.

No I didn't because as I mentioned I had used most of all the products to make sure I really gave them a go before I made up my mind. It took me about 2 months to use the Sham and Cond and the same with the moisturiser.
Like I said there were a couple of things I did like, but no way enough to book another party and truthfully....I don't think anyone would come again.
Whereas with the Linen and The Body Shop, I have or will rebook.
Sorry not for me.

I have the Diva lady out here today to talk to me and she brought out ALL of the products for me to have a look at and from what i saw i loved them. They all smell really nice and seem to work good. Mind you i only used them on my hands but i didnt find any of the greasy or gunky or anything. So were a little but they needed to be absorbed by the skin.
I dont need to spend $250 a month because they have a sign up deal going at the moment for $99 and you only need $100 every 3 months and dont need to do the parties so thats great for me as in very shy and parties will take a long time to warn into for me.
PLus the training seems to be very supportive and alot better then some of the other ones i have tried.
So i think im going to give it a try.. if worst comes to worst then i havnt lost much money on the outlay but i dont think it will come to that... they seem like beautful products.
Thanks for everyone who gave me feedback.

I looooooove DIVA products- they are the only thing I have used on my skin for years. Normally I can't be bothered re-stocking once I have tried one brand but I have found Diva great and I love how you can re-stock just by calling your consultant who can send out the products the nest day- so handy!

This is an old thread. I just wanted to say I love the products I have been using them for over a month and truly love them all. The shampoo and conditioner are great...I only have to wash my long hair every 3 days now and I don't get an oily scalp any more :yelclap: even around that time of month :p. The facial products are awesome and I would never go back to using what I used to use on my face. I use the baby range on my kids, I love the bath oil on the skin. I don't need to moisturise thier skin after a bath anymore. The lemongrass soy candle is a great fly repellent...I light the candle and get some of the melted candle and put a tiny bit on my arms and the flies leave me alone:smiliedance:
