14 can be a really selfish age.
I would get her a present, but thats just me!
I know I bugged teh bejebus out of my 2 older sisters till I turned about 25 to their 35/37.
Then we fianlly found some common ground.
i would get her a gift as it is her birthday
I would get her something small and just leave it at that. I know how you feel I have a Step sister 10 and step brother 9 and they are just the same but they are starting to change now that they realise what their selfishness and rudeness has resulted in my sister and I not buying them special things or taking them anywhere.

When you are 14 everything is all about you. I would still buy something.

I'm 19 and have a sister who is 13, and in terms of maturity there is A LOT of difference. She's immature, can be annoying and is most certainly selfish at times. I don't know about your situation but remember her age. I would get her something as family is important to me and I try to be on good terms with everyone in mine.
I would just get her something small. Usually for that age though I just get them either a $20 gift voucher or put $20 in a card. I hate buying for teenagers as most of them think they are better than anyone.

yes of course. Its your sister and she's only 14. I wouldn't blame her for being upset if you decided not to give her one.

I would ... nature of the beast at 14 yo.
And your attitude towards her will help shape who she thinks she is, what she is worth etc etc.
Having said that, siblings always frustrate each other - goes with the job description.

14 is a self absorbed age but it's still a kid.
Yes, I would buy her something and just always be a good example to her. Over time older sisters make a lasting impression.
Yep, I agree with eryone else...get her one...

Yep, I agree too... I would still give her a gift. Selfishness is part of being a teenager and learning about yourself.
