Hi everyone

I've just been reading everyone daily exerise reports and i'm feeling very motivated, thank you!

My dilema is that I need a routine and I dont really know where to start.

I'm a SAHM and I have three kids, the youngest is 8 weeks old tomorrow. I pretty much have my figure back but I am soooo unfit and I want to tone up (especially my legs and butt!).

I'd love it if some of you could give me some ideas for a routine that I can do.

Here's what I've got to work with...

I have an eliptical trainer and an ab slide (you hold it with your hands and roll it out along the floor).
I cant really get out to go for walks with the 3 kids, but we have quite a large sloping backyard so perhaps I could do something there??
Could perhaps get to the swimming pools once a week, but don't want to have to rely on it.

So if anyone has a routine for me or wants to make me their personal project, I'd love to hear from you:D

xx Denise

Hi, Welcome and Congratulations.

I do all of my workouts at home as I live in the middle of nowhere.
Here is a list of things I do:
- Biggest Loser DVD (highly reccomended, love it)
- Hotpants DVD (Kiah & Babylover will reccomend this one aswell)
- Crunches (daily)
- Lunges, Squats
- Jogging around the yard when DS2 is asleep.
- Walks down our driveway (walking back is the worst bit as its up hill)

I hope this gives you a bit of an idea. I try and fit it in everyday usually when DS2 is asleep though.

Wow u r gonna be a busy mummy, but good on u for being motivated. I'm sure you can do it. And feel free to join our exercise reporting thread if u like! :hugs:

Not sure how your routine is now but if I had three such little ones i would prob be doing my workouts either really early in the morn or after they go to bed. Just so I could fully devote the time to myself and have no distractions or excuses. And most importantly not take precious time away from them.

I will def reccomend the hotpants workout as the results happen within a week. If u do it every night and eat healthily.

I do my crunches and dumbells whenever i have a chance or watching telly.

:chef: What kind of food do u eat hun? I try to have all mine ready (salads etc.) 24 hrs in advance so I don't have to grab an unhealthy bite for a quick energy fix. I also graze on my food all day long. I keep a journal about all the food/exercise etc. that i do in my zoints profile. And I include what I make as alternatives for my boys.

I hope that helps. And good luck hun!!!!!

Thanks Kiah.

I eat pretty well most of the time. I try to buy organic products and I do my own baking with no added sugar or other nastys.
I eat a lot of fruit, drink a lot of water and am generally pretty healthy, it's just my fitness that is really slacking:o

I'm going to buy the hotpants dvd, it looks like a lot of fun:yes: I think i'll have to try doing it at night once the kids are in bed, my mornings normally start at about 5am at the moment anyway, so I dont think I could fit it in then.

How long does the dvd go for?

I think around 40 mins. Make sure you've got a towel coz...the sweat is bad at the end. Starts off and u think...oh yep this is ok...then you start to drip. But great workout!!!!!:smiliedance: And you will hav buns of steel!!!!

I bought both of my dvds off of ebay brand new. For Hotpants I paid just under $30 and for Biggest Loser I paid $25approx.
