Hello guys!! Having more sleeping issues at the moment and I would love your advice!!! My 8mth old DS, cut his first tooth 2 days ago (yay!!), but for the past 3 weeks his sleeping habits have completely changed, he used to go to sleep on his own quite happily, but lately, I have to wait until he is very overtired, then rock, pat, stroke to sleep, which I guess I don't really mind comforting whilst he is teething, but I really would like him to be able to put him self to sleep again, and its pretty much the same for his night time sleep, we have to wait until he is way overtired, then comfort him to sleep, sometimes he doesn't go to sleep until 10pm - he used to have a perfect routine, where he had 3 decent sleeps a day, then would go to sleep at 7.30pm at night after bath and bottle... Now he is all over the place...
I don't really want to try controlled crying, because he is teething and needs the comfort, but I don't want him to get in the habit of getting comforted to sleep everytime - especially when he used to be soooo good??

Tayla has been exactly the same.

We have given her the dummy in her cot with bonjela on it. eases the pain and puts her to sleep!

I noticed you are in QLD. Could it be possibly getting hotter in the bedroom. I noticed when I am in DD's room it gets really hot when the door is closed but when the door is open its ok. Obviously teething is a main issue, just thought I might offer other suggestion. :o oh an the bonjella on the dummie thing I do to.
