View Full Version : Stupid notes sent home...
I swear, some people dont have a brain. The other week I get a note sent home in which the teacher outlined the problems my son has been having with another child and Thomas had to write down ways to combat this and then I had to make a comment, sign it and send it back. I made a comment all right! The morons have sat these two together for the better part of a year whilst their relationship was a total mess and this child made me childs life a misery, what idiots!! Needless to say my comment was not very complimentary,
Then today he gives me one to sign, 'Thomas was caught playing in the playground without a hat' Well tell him to go and get it and put it on!!!! It is always in his bag. Is it really note worthy? Which is exactly what I told them, why should he have to sit and write ways he can overcome his non hat wearing?? Just remind him to go get it!!! Grrrr, it is was so ridiculious that I just had to vent. Thanks for reading.

some teachers are just idiots, its not that hard to ask them to get their hat
I am glad I am not the only one who found it ridiculous!

ummm... that sounds completely nuts to me....
ha! are u kidding?! especially since the time they took to write a letter to you, wouldnt it be time saving to just remind the children???
definately not note worthy
and in regards to the child thomas is having problems with... why would they sit them near eachother??
the 1st intellegent thing to do would be to seperate them. that would be a good start. :banghead:
i would be writing the same "comments" back to them.
good luck with that one!
just wait for the parent/teacher interviews.. wont that be interesting lol

My 16yr old son had a detention the other day for not wearing a hat in the undercover area. I couldn't understand this one.
It does make it hard to understand how people think sometimes.
No we never get notes like that home from school. What a waste of staff time. For not wearing a hat:eek: Extremely silly.
We only get notes if they are really naughty at school. For instance my ds decided it was a good idead to pee out the boys toilet window:rolleyes: Well it is not and got him a detention:shame: So I heard about that!

I'm sorry but this made me laugh so hard!! I have three boys and I can just imagine the thought process that was behind that one.
Could you make an appointment with the teacher and go in? I swear that the only way to get things done is face to face. Then you could sort out the situation with the other child and the seating arrangements. And possibly ask what the policy is on hat wearing and the consequences and stuff. The if there are worries about it in the future, you can point out their own policies to them.
I know what you mean Can I? boys:rolleyes: I had to help out on a school sausage sizzle that week and the Principal was in awe of his amazing talent to shoot it out the window:laughing:
He never did it again and is most well behaved these days:smiliedance:

Wow, LOL that is ridiculous! Why wouldn't they have just told him to go get his hat:confused:.
It's funny, I have 2 boys in the same school and I seem to get notes every day about the younger one (yep ridiculous reasons too) but I get none whatsoever from the older one.Not even when they thought he'd broken his nose!I was livid!
The principal actually rang me this morning, based on my comments, she gave all these reasons, but they were still stupid imo.
Oh and LOL at your son Elfin!

shouldnt it be up to the teachers to enforce the hat wearing, theres not much you can do about it once he's at home...the situation is already over. WHAT MORONS
