Hi I am a bit stuck on lochs party.

We will be inviting some friends from Lochs old preschool maybe 2. The rest from his kindy class...

He wants to go to Lollipoat ps but its too expensive so I have come up with a few other ideas....

1. Take them to a movie "meet the robinsons come out that week", then to softplay for a softplay party.

2. Take them to a bowling party.

3. Just a softplay party.

4 A backyard party at my sisters house...Jumping castle etc...

The only reason I dont want the one at my sisters is because i think it will cost just as much if not more to have to then have the extra effort of running around all day then cleaning up for hours afterwards...

Im doing a poll so tell me what you think or some other suggestions...

Thanks guys..

I love a backyard party. You can be really creative with your ideas and come up with a great party without it being too expensive.

Pick a theme and run with it. What sorts of things is you DS into?

I think it would be really hard to keep all the kids sitting still in the movies and then you have to transport them afterwards. Boys just want to be let lose and go WILD!! :D

Mmmmm.... you have me thinking now, it is my DS 5th birthday soon too. :detective:

I think a bowling party - maikyra is only 2 and she looooves bowling, plus the partys are cheap, you have a designated area, no clean up.

Or a movie party - Reading Cinema does free popcorn and drink. then you can get a special room to have the cake in after....

I have been to 4 lollipops parties and they have been terrible. they rush you in and out of the room, the place is packed being a weekend (cross your fingers and toes its not a wet one, too!)

Another idea is one of the rhythm factory parties, you go to a local park and the kids do activities for a few hours however 5 year old boys might not like it that much?

Whatever you decide have fun Cat!!!

Theres an active kids one or something like that too.... more sports based...
