Costume Party - Need Help.....

Howdy!!

Bub and I will be going to a "Uniform" themed costume party next weekend and I have no idea what to go as!!!

I'm looking for an idea that is relatively easy and CHEAP.... LOL....

I have an idea for bubs of an old fashioned convict uniform... its easy for me to convert a white bodysuit with a black texta....

If anyone has any fantastic ideas please share!!

A school uniform should be relatively cheap.. if you have a white shirt, skirt of some kind (pleated would be great but non-pleated could work too, in a plain colour or if you have some kind of tartan colour, even better), a tie to match the skirt, white socks and black shoes.

I made a school uniform costume recently, but it wasn't as simple as the one described above. I wanted to go as a student from the movie Battle Royale (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0266308/) so I added some stuff I made myself - a pleated skirt, a collar made out of foil wrapped around a hairband, and splattered the whole outfit in "blood" (red paint) :D

A doctor or scientist could be easy as you could wear normal clothes with a bow tie & a white coat. :thumbsup:

If you own black and white striped shirt/pants you could go as a gaol bird and even 'sex' it up a bit ie. wear the striped singlet top and a short skirt or something? :eek:

Why don't you go as a police woman? Blue blouse, a few badges, some cuffs, black pants and black shoes.. and a hat (maybe found at a costume shop? or even cheapie shops have dress up gear like that)

i agree with seek (she beat me to the post) can easily do up a police uniform spesh with convict pip! and dont forget kaz, you will have to share the pics :D
