Hey all mothers out there....I have a DS who is 6 weeks old. I have more energy now & want to start exercising but the thought I getting out the pram & pushing it around doesn't motivate me. Especially where I live, it's acreage & the roads aren't very safe with a pram.
What do other mothers do for exercise? Do you exercise at home?
Any suggestion would be great......

Exercise vidoes or DVD's are great. You can do a 1/2hr routine while bubs is having a nap :)
Jogging on a mini trampoline while watching the daytime soapies is also a winner here.
Swimming if you have a pool while bubs is asleep.

A mini trampoline, what a great idea. I'd love a treadmill but that's definitely not going to happen on our budget at the moment.
Hi, I do a mums and bubs exercise class, and mums and bubs yoga.

Just remember to take it a bit easy at first, your bub is only 6 weeks old, right??
I lost a lot of weight during my pregnancy (I had GD) and was highly motivated to keep going once my bub was born. Though I went too hard too early and now have a groin injury that plays up like murder, I only have to be walking to set it off!
Walking or the mini tramp is a great idea. I walk up and down my steps (mostly at night so the neighbours don't think I'm nuts!) and do lots of situps!!
I do a mums and bubs exercise class, but it's only once a week. At home I incorporate exercise with play time.
Push ups over bub.. each time I get to the lower position I give her a kiss, then I push up. I do lots because I just wanna keep giving her kisses.
Pelvic tilts with her on my abdomen (she is sitting up) Not only does she get a 'ride' more weight helps me.
Arm stuff. I 'fly' her aorund the room, pushing my arms away from my body. And lifting her up to the ceiling a few times.. Jade loves this and giggles madly.
I walk around the house with her in my arms. I walk fast and change it up a bit by doing side steps and bum kicks etc.
I lie on my side with her in front of me and we chatter while I am doing leg lifts.
