Hi all...
again I will say sorry :o
But due to a miscommunication of no ones error we are closing the last round of entries and starting fresh... everyone photos were lovely but there is a new rule (as per the last round of competition)
You MUST enter a NEW photo taken for the competition NOT use an exisiting picture
The theme as supplied by our round 3 winner "heaven sent" is SLEEPING
Again sorry (please dont hate me :o )
The competition is limited to 20 entries, after 20 it will be closed for voting.

About 5 minutes after this shot, G was snoring.... a 8 month old snoring when they arent sick? Its a classic sight!

OK guys I edited my photo - didnt change the actual photo just added something to it I hope this is OK! if not let me know and ill take away the changes.

Yes the photo has to be taken especially for the competition..
I am now going to delete a couple that are obviously not taken new today for the comp... Please ladies to be fair to everyone, read the rule in the first post..

FINALLY I HAVE BEEN ABLE TO FIX THE LINK...
You cant begin to imagine what an effort that was (old computer died, so all programs gone, so cant upload from camera easy - so emailed, but it wouldnt save it as a JPG to be uploaded to photobucket, so J went and found the old CD for blue tooth, had to load program and fiddle to get it started, and then upload to computer - than to photobucket, than to here!!! I better get some votes HELL - i went to alot of effort then....!!!)

Guys, i edited my photo i hope thats OK!! I didnt change the photo just made a small change to it! Its on the first page. If theres any problems with it just let me know and ill erase the changes. Cheers!

Bummer! Claire's asleep now, but a) I don't want to wake her up with my noisy camera (:laughing:) and b) I can't get my camera's software to work on my computer, so I wouldn't be able to upload it right now anyway!

Here are the PHOTO COMPETITION RULES.
1. You may only enter 1 photo.
2. The photo MUST be taken specifically for the competition. You cannot use one you already have.
3. Editing - you can crop your photo. No other editing is allowed.
4. The winner can choose the theme for the following round and pm it to either TwoBlue or myself. We will then start up the thread.
Please note - if your entry doesn't comply with the rules, we'll remove it and pm you so you can fix it or submit another entry (if there's still any places available). I hope everyone feels this is fair.
I will put the rules at the start of each competition from now on. It's still in it's early days and seems very popular, which is fantastic. The aim of the competition is to use your photographic skills. When you're entering a photo or voting, see if it has these type of elements:
- is it in focus?
- does it relate to the theme?
- does it have good composition (ie does the subject have their legs cut off, or is too low in the picture etc)
- is the lighting good?
- is it creative?
If anyone has ideas/suggestions for the comp, please pm TwoBlue or myself as we want to make this as fun for everyone as possible. I just wanted to make the rules clear so nobody gets confused or feels left out. :)

i took mine this week tho when i first heard about starting a photo comp, but before this topic was announced. i cant take a new one now because my kids are away at their poppies house for the weekend. so does mine count since its less than a week old?
Sorry Duchess, we're going to be a bit strict on the rules so it's fair for everyone.
But you're welcome to join in the next one...or take a picture of someone or something other than your kids?

Phew - how do you all do it so fast and have the camera handy!!

Chloe has been asleep since 2pm! That's a record for a day sleep! Maybe the camera flash made her extra sleepy lol.

This was Emily taken about 4 minutes ago...the bit of material you see is actually a head scarf off a magazine that she 'scratches' lol... loves it... loves scratching materials she likes...... strange but she never had a dummy or anything so must have used it to self settle!?
