Hi ladies, nice to hear from you all. I've added you to my MSN list.

Anne, my husband and I own a business. We go to people's homes and businesses and fix their computers. If the computer is full of viruses etc we sometimes bring them back to our place and use our tools and broadband etc to clean them up. My main responsibilities are sales material, paying the bills, keeping an eye on the emails and doing the bookwork in MYOB. If I get time, I can work on PCs too cause I know that technical stuff.

I have a friend who does bookkeeping for people, mainly from her home. If you don't have a contact in a company that needs your help, I'm sure there are a lot of small businesses that could use someone on a part-time basis to do admin type stuff. Maybe contact your local chamber of commerce and see if they have a small business network that you could approach?

Juggling work at home with bub (4mnths) is very interesting. I have to capitalise on her nap times and understand that if she needs me, then the work has to wait. I love my work but my baby remains my priority.

Hi Leanda, Your life sounds very similar to mine at the moment. I too work from home for my hubbies business. Answering the phone and doing bookwork. I too have a little one, Toby, born on the 28th of July 05, so not too much between them. He is a boy tho' and I have another that will be 3 in April. I first seen you on a North Lakes thread. I'm always going up that way. I think you must be close to me too. I'm at Stafford Hgts, where are you? I prob have instant msg somewhere but just don't seem to get the time to sort it all out. I'd love to get together for a coffee/drink and a chat. Anyway got to dash, it is feeding time at the zoo!! My email is t_chatwin@yahoo.com.au. Tracy

Why don'y you try using Google Talk? In addition to that, I also use GTalkPhone. Its a service that works well with Google Talk that allows me to call ordinary phones and mobiles
