No drugs, promise!! But sometimes I swear I hear my bub crying (day or night) and go rushing to her room, only to find her sound asleep!!
Lack of sleep messes with your mind I guess!

Poppy's Mum ...

You are a perfectly normal functioning mummy. Nearly three years on and two kids under the belt I still hear it!

You're freakin' me out KB!

And Sopoli ... what's with that? I also hear them when I'm out and about - even in the car when the kids aren't around. Is there a medical name for hearing babies voices apart from nuts?

How about plain old auditory hallucination??

Like the voices...the voices......the voices........?

Hmmm - does that then make babies auditory hallucinogens?

How about " hallucinogenetics?"

How old is Poppy? I used to think I could hear ds crying, especially when I was in the shower or drying my hair. It was really bad in the early days (first couple of months) now it has eased off.

Babies cry so much when they're new (well mine did anyway), so it's all a bit of a shock to your system. Don't stress too much, you're perfectly normal :D

I think it's a natural instinct we acquire when we first become a mum.
They do cry alot in those early days to communicate and we become so attuned to their cry that we often hear it when its not actually happening.
I'm at the stage now that when I'm out without the kids and I hear someone call out "mummy" I still turn my head, even though I know it couldn't possibly be my child

No - I have never felt anything like this and I think you are all a bit loopy!

Just joking

What amazes me (especially when they are tiny and on the boob) - is that you can go out while they are sleeping and know precisely when they have woken up

DH used to think this was most interesting!

Yep it is definately true - us mums have superpowers!
