Ok, I admit that when it comes to the baking area I am a little bit "challenged" and lazy.
Can anyone give me a recipie for healthy fruit or savory muffins and any healthy biscuits that a 15 month old would be able to consume?

Ok well all i do is use a basic/plain muffin or biscuit recipe ( or if really lazy like atm being sick all the time i use a plain cake mix from the supermarket to make my muffins :o ) then add whatever i have in the cupboard to them.
So sometimes its sultana muffins or a mixture of dried fruit otherwise i mash a ripe banana & make banana muffins.
Same with the biccies, Boof loves them plain but some dried fruit or the likes adds some flavour.
For savoury i make cheesy bacon muffins or whatever vegies like pumpkin etc.
Just depending on what fruit or vegies you are using you may need less water or milk especially with the banana so go slow & see how the mixture comes along.
Hope that helps !

Oh!! here's something I know!!

Date and Bran muffins (YUM!!)

1 1/4 cup S/R flour (I use wholemeal)
teaspoon of cinnamon (I put in a tad more, LOVE it)
1/2 sugar
1 3/4 cup bran (oat or wheat)
3/4 cup finely chopped dates (I think I put in more, I don't measure and they come out good)
1/2 cup of veg oil (I use sunflower oil and it's good)
1 1/2 cup milk
1 egg

MIX everything together, no sifting or nuffin!!

grease muffin tins, bake for 20 mins in 180o oven or til firm...

makes 12 :D

You can also substitute dates for mashed bananas... I used 4 and then added a bit of extra bran and they're good too!!

:detective: not sure how healthy they are, but my 10.5 month old loves them...

Fruity cakelets

90g butter 1/4 tsp bicarb
2 ripe bananas, mashed 90g sultanas
1 egg, beaten
90ml milk
1 tbsp honey
200g SRFlour

Cream together butter and banana in a bowl. Gradually work the egg, milk, honey, flour and bicarb into the mixture. Stir in the sultanas. Divide the mixture between small patty papers.
Bake at 200C for 15mins.

You can replace the banana with mashed pear or strawberries if you like.
