Are there no other Brisbane southside mums out there?

Ok I have seen heaps of messages about mums and groups getting together on the northside of Brisbane. Am I the only one on the southside? So far I have found it rather hard to find others to talk too (or break into existing groups) and amm keen to meet up with other mums for coffe ad a chat but to no avail. It appears that no one else hails from the south. I live in a wonderful bayside area where we can visit the water and enjoy the sea breezes - it really is wonderful. So why are there no other soutside mums out there?

I suppose it is one of life's little mysteries.

So if you hail from Brisbane south/east - shout out!

I am from the south side too and would love to meet other mums! The working mums from the south were trying to organise a get together but I don't know what the outcome was....I think we were all trying to work out when we all had days off!

I would be keen to organise some time for a coffee with other mums as I have no other friends or family with children. I live at Eight Mile Plains so am relatively close to the bayside. I have Tuesdays and Fridays off work.

I look forward to hearing from other mums who would like to meet up. :)

Where abouts in the Bayside are you? I would love to catch up with some other mums, it is really strange being the only mum in our group of friends! Although all my friends are very supportive they don't have any idea on what being a mum is really like.

Well Aston improved slightly today. Actually if I had of been more prepared I could of come to the movies, but I could not of forseen that she would have a 3 1/2 hour sleep from 6:45am to 10:15am!!!!!!! Must have been tuckered out from the whole teething saga of the last few days. I was bored and didnt know what to do with my self that early in the morning!!! Am having trouble finding any good rteething rings that are small enough for her little mouth and little hands though, and bonjella is USELESS!!!!

Have been very quiet of late as I have been ordered to have strict bed rest due to signs of early labour. I'm now 28weeks and am going well but am sick of looking at the same four walls. Would love to get out and talk to some other mums.
I have two kids at school and no longer used to having babies around would be great to spend time with you all and get back into the swing of things. I'm more nervous this time round than when I had my first.

hi all new mums, there is always room for more. so far we are meeting for the movies on wed 13th at garden city at 10am. (miss congeniality 2) all you need to do is look for the prams in the foyer. the meeting after that is friday 22nd at a park (some of the kids are needing to stretch their legs) on beenleigh road at kuraby. we are trialling meeting alternate wednesdays and fridays. most mums seem to be able to make at least one of those days.

Just wanted to let you know that I can't make it 2morrow. I have a Doctors app.
Have been having signs of going into early labour. I'm 33weeks, still abit too early to meet our little one. On the plus side bub is already approx 2.5kg so won't be too small. Trying to hang on for at least another 2-3 weeks.

i live in algester and i am having a little get together on thursday 20th july starting about 10am at my house. all you need to bring is you and your children and a plate of food to share and a toy or 2 for the kids. it is just a nice informal way that we can get to know each other without the kids tearing around a park.
