While my wee one was crying today (which I thought was due to his temp which is due to a small virus and his teething.. ends up he didn't want to be rocked to sleep just put down thankyouverymuch) I caught a rare glimpse into his mouth... the gum that the first molar will someday live has a hole in it  please tell me that that's perfectly normal and my 7 month old is NOT getting a molar already.

(I'm going through hell with the teeth that are beside the front teeth already. I do not wish for molars. PLEASE tell me it's normal and not teething)

Seekrit, another mum that I occasionally see when I go to the chn has a little boy the same age as Cobey, anyway, his forst tooth was a molar at 5months:eek: So it can happen! Has he been getting earache or has he been ulling on his ears or anything like that?

He does pull his ears but he does that when he's tired and also has done that with his other 4 teeth (two bottom and two top.. no cross cutting .. yet)

*sigh*
He's such a sad cherub. His fever is gone (thank goodness) but he gets upset until he gets teething gel rubbed into his gums (which is bittersweet for him as he doesn't want his teeth to be touched at all)

He's just a baybeee... babies don't get molars. :(
