Hi!
I just love a Christening!!!
I don't know where the Caboolture shire is but there is an online store which specialises in Christening dresses. Here's the link:
http://www.googoogear.com.au - I don't know what their prices are like, I know some can be quite expensive but think of it as a family heirloom - my boys both wore the Christening gown I was Baptised in 32 years ago!!
Hope this helps and good luck for your big day!

Can I just say that your daughter is so cute :p

I got my mum to make my DS a little sailor suit type thing for his christening as I really didnt want to pay $100-$1000 on a an outfit he would wear for an hour or so. It was heaps cheaper just to buy a pattern and make it. But I guess if you cant sew or dont have anyone to do it for you, you can check out the shopping directory on Bubhub and they have a section devoted to christenings :)

Ps I just noticed Carly that your bub Lucas is the same age as Orlando, you should check out our Birth group (June-0ct 04 bubs) thanks :)

:D Thanks very much for the tips

carly: caboolture is in north of brisbane, so far i found one that caught my fancy from ebay australia and the store is in marochydore, sunshine coast though. I'm still looking and searching for other options :D

orlandosmum: thanks ;) yeah she's a cutie, she'll be 8mos old this 9th of dec :) and yeah i'm not really good at sewing, so, guess i'll have to rely on the shops around

Davie Jones sell them, for a fair amount though. Don't know if you have one local.
