Delipetry cream and hair bleach?

Im not sure if this is in the right section but Im wondering what everyone thinks of the safety of using delipetry cream and/or hair bleach while pregnant?

Im 7 weeks and having PCOS I tend to have slightly darker hair on my stomach (dont really have a problem anywhere else). Being pregnant and with the prospect of having a growing belly that I want to show off (to my partner at least!) I really want to get rid of the hair or lighen it with bleach. I've never been a waxer and dont particularly want to start and shaving is only a short term alternative and int he long run may end up making it seem worse.
The hair isnt corse or that bad but it is bad enough to bother me :o :(

Has anyone used either of these products or know if they are safe to use?

i persoonally would never ever put that stuff on my body while pregnant...

i feel stupid enough that i did it here & there when i was younger... now i am less ignorant & am a very aware consumer, i am far more diligent & less naive, that just because something is put on the shelf doesnt make it safe..

if you are really unsure, take a couple of the real chemical sounding ingredients off one of the products you would consider & just look them up.. then decide would i really recommend my best friend or someone i care about puting this poison in her body & the possible risks to her unborn child...

i know you will get others who use this stuff in their bikini area while pregnant.

i know it may not be as pleasant, but if you are really desperate for your hair removal i would only pluck or shave while preggers...

i think your partner might prefer your PCOS side effect of hair :yes: rather than the side effect of cancer for yourself or something for your bub?

When i was younger i used to try and lighten my hair but i never wanted to bleach it. What i found worked for me was lemon juice, just leave it on a couple of minutes then rinse and repeat a couple of times. This was for my head hair and never tried it on my belly but now that i am pg i am finding i have the same prob as you with a slightly hairy belly that i want to show off, so i am going to try the lemon juice and see if it works. Another natural lightner is tea as well.... look it up on google and see what you come up with. hope i could help :)

Andrea gentle cream bleach for the face- u can use that while pregnant, i didnt bleach the hairs on my tummy but i did get my hair dyed a cpl times while preg. just do it in a well ventilated area. the hairs end up falling out anyways (well mine did) so i wouldnt shave or wax or that! HTH
