it sounds like your eating really well:thumbsup: You could try eating fresh fruit instead of the juice because it has more fibre. Are you eating green vegies like broccoli and spinach? I ate at least a good serve of these most days.

as for supplements, I took Elevit Pregnancy multivitamins. They have the folate and anything in them you might be lacking. Another good one (and a bit cheaper) is Blackmores Pregnancy & Lactation multivitamins. This is what I'm taking still as I'm breastfeeding and apparently they help.

Sounds pretty good to me.

I dont take vitamins as they make me spew (well the swallowing part) and at 14 weeks I still have that prob.

I have always eaten a fresh and healthy diet and my Dr always assumes I am taking pg vitamins when i get bloods done!

I agree to eat an orange as well as the juice, add a bit of fruit (banana??) and i eat wholemeal breads.

you sound really healthy to me...

i would also suggest some greens & the actual fruit instead of juice..

i take alot of fish-oil [reflux free] & have been trying to keep up with magnesium...
[these were both due to reasons before my pregnancy but on further investigation have found them to be beneficial to bub as well]
a pregnancy multi... mega B [again for mum but wont hurt bub]

almonds & walnuts are fantastic snack with some apple

frozen berry milk drink [frozen berries from the freezer section blended up with milk]

chicken & red meat [when i can tolerate]

natural peanut butter [sanitarium in health food section at supermarkets] in moderation provides good natural oils & protein

good luck to you!:chef:

You sound like you are doing well to me

I take a Pretorius pregnancy multi each morning which contains fish oil & iodine and I take extra zinc before bed each night.

I am eating lots of fruit, vegies, meat, yoghurt and drinking heaps of water plus some milk.

You sound fine and healthy to me but as an extra precaution you could try adding more vegies and fruits to your diet, as opposed to fruit juice.

I also took Elevit for my first pg and am taking it again for my 2nd pg - it's recommended for all pg and bf women. No matter how good your diet is, you probably will need more folate, iron and other minerals as what you eat in food doesn't usually cover your RDI's.
