Hi There,

My 3 1/2 month old daughter is swaddled for her night sleep. If she doesn't kick her way out of her swaddle she will stay asleep for the entire night but if she manages to wriggle out (usually between 1am and 3am) she will only go back to sleep after a feed.

She is not swaddled for her daytime naps, just at night.

We have tried a sleeping bag (which she also wakes with)

Any ideas?

Hmmm, no ideas really. Ds was wrapped until around 6 months - he just loved it. He's a real wriggler too, so I used to have to get up and wrap him at night.

We just went cold turkey one day and it worked.

The only thing I can think of is trying a bigger sized wrap so you can really wrap tight!! Or...
It might not be the wrap,
it may be that the maybe the nights bub unwraps with more wriggling are hungry nights when nothing will stop the wriggling except food!

My dd was wrapped untill she was 5mths old.She continually escaped and woke up all the time.I spent all night rewrapping her.
I started by not wrapping her during the day (but you already dont so it might make it a bit easier as your bub is used to not having a wrap all the time.)
I also used one of those wedge things at first so she didn't feel too insecure and roll around everywhere.
Finally I removed the wedge after about a week.
Now she sleeps however she likes and is alot more comfortable.

It did take about a week for her to get used to not having the wrap.
So keep trying and good luck.
