Great job Lunar!!! :yelclap: Are you taking orders yet?? :D ;)
Shed, yes the poll is up, and yes I have come a long way but I am a very fast learner and my mum is an expert knitter and crotheter so she just showed me once and that's all I need:p
Oscar's mum, I think it's pretty coot too, look very cute on too...lol.
That is just gorgeouse was it really your first thing you knitted?? I feel terrible now...my 1st thing I ever knitted is a shocker...half finished soaker :-(

Ohhh Lunar you have inspired me!!!
What do you think is the best way to learn? Get someone to teach you or with a book?
Lunar, is that the Alice?
My latest one is the Alice pattern, previously I used the tinybirds. I love the Alice, it fits him heaps better.

I am a watch and learn kinda gal. I learn much faster habing someone next to me showing me step by step. I usually along need to be shown once tho:yes:

Yep, tis the alice! the one I'm knitting now is the tiny birds, but it looks like it's gonna be too small??? I've nearly finished the front, might have to do the back and se if I need to pull it aprt and start again:confused:
yep, tinybirds is small. I knit it on bigger needles, but now I am just going to stick with the Alice.

Sh!t *** bum poop!
I might undo it now and start again with the alice. I thought cos on the pattern it said it was for 12months plus it would be bigger than the alice:confused: (and I'm already half way through:( )
The red one I just finished off was the alice pattern but I made it bigger, I cast on extra stitches and made the rise longer too, so it will fit her a bit longer. (but I did it mainly cos I didn't have the pattern on hand when I started so I just guessed it:p )
Off to pull out all my knitting now:crying:
Happy to help, LOL, sorry!!
Well done Lunar - I love the contrast!
Action pic?
Hey we will have to have a regular knit off with all these knitters now!
A regular knit off would be good, its the only way I can get things finished. I am going to do some shorties next, or maybe longies...
And I was thinking when it gets closer to winter we could have a knit off for a kid's jumper. That might be cool.
Sounds like a plan!

Shed you are only saying that because you knit gorgeous jumpers!
I'm very frustrated at knitting at the moment. I started working on a lacey pattern, royally messed up and its given me a massive headache. So I flung the needles into the back of my craft bag for when I get remotivated.
Hugs CK :hugs:
Shed can I see your jumpers? Since discopvering cloth and soakers I have barely made anything else. :shame:
Kymmy, I didn't think of action pics... I just knit till I'm done, didn't think about it really.
No body else posts them so I figured they weren't necessary?
Maybe next time.
Nah she means with bubs in the soaker
Of course - not neccessary Lunar but always lovely to see the fit and we would all agree that bub always makes the soaker all the more cuter!

Gorgeous Kris!!!
I may need to employ your services ;)
Oh, ok gotcha Kymmy!
I thought you meant action shots of me knitting...PMSL! I'm a lil blonde today...ha ha ha!
Mel, when I have enough for Kailah I might knit to sell, but may be a while..lol... I'm greedy...lol
You should learn how to knit Mel, it's sooooo simple.
I don't take knitting action pics either - would be awkward!
Lunar, PMSL!! yeah we are dying to see action pics of you knitting. Make sure you take two photos, one for the purl and one for the knit rows, ha ha ha. good grief girl.
kymmy, I have only finished one jumper and am in the process of knitting another. I am knitting a size 1 so by the time its finished he will still fit it.
Soakers are great because they are so quick!

Excellent job. And very cute model. She is growing up so fast! She's starting to look like a little girl rather than a bubba. Time flies!
