Thought I'd get something started to get us FIFO mums together.
As there are a few new babies in amongst the group, I'm offering my house (in Greenwood) as the place to get together.

I'm thinking the Wednesday the 7th of March, as I know other groups meet on Tues and Thurs.

Let me know if this does/doesn't suit you and we can go from there.

Ill have to pass sorry hun, thats the day that DF flys out.
He has to be at the airport for 1230 so by the time i drop him off i only just have enough time to get the kids from school.
Sorry hun maybe next time we all meet up :D

FIFO = Fly in fly out

Most of our hubbys work away on the mines :D

Would happily make it the Thursday if it suits better, or the following Wednesday.

i will be up for a get together with other FIFO partners once bub is born (any day now!) and DH goes back to work (mid-April) :)

Hi Melo, my DF works at Telfer... but one of my close friends lives up in Paraburdoo with her 5 kiddies and her hubby who is on the mines there :)

Melo - My DH worked in Para and TP for last 2 years now in Mt Keith for 2 months then I think goes back to Para and TP. He works for a company called NuDrill, relief drilling...

Hi all,

This is exactly what I have been looking for. My family and I have recently moved back to Perth after 6 years in Melb. I now have a 9 month old son and my hubby is fifo. I am new to all this and dont really have any friends in the same situation!!
Would love to meet some new people in the same situation.
