Has anyone had a scan yet who would like to share...

what was it like, how far along are you, did you get a picture to keep? (if so do share!) :D


We were booked in to have our 8 week (internal)scan on the 1st March (8 weeks exactly) with the Fertility Specialist to check on a heart beat and to see if there are 1 or 2 babies (i had 2 mature folicles when i ovulated). BUT DH is going away with work and we had to reschedule so its now THIS FRIDAY! (will be 7 weeks 1 day) :smiliedance: (even better - not as long to wait!). I dont think that the few days earlier will change much, well they didnt think so anyway..

Im really excited as i need to see it and see a heartbeat to know everything is alright (and also need to find out if it is 1 or 2!). i have not had any bleeding or cramps and am feeling MS but am still a little worried about it all...

I just had a scan yesterday, I was 6wks and 5days, turns out i'm bahind a week so didn't get to see the heart beats, but did see 2 sacks with what looks to be 2 babies, I didn't have a internal, if I did they probably would beable to see more, but I opted to have another scan done next tuesday, so we'll see the heart beats then

oh and I got pictures, some places give you pics free, others you have to pay if you want pics

I had one done at 6wks, 1 day cos i had a couple of spots of blood. My bladder wasnt full enough so the external didnt work, but got to see heartbeat and bubs on internal - 125bpm!
They checked the dates while they were at it and said i didnt need to get my dating scan done, but i had already booked it in so am getting it done anyway. This one was only a tiny blob so i didnt bother getting the pictures (actually didnt think to ask cos i was so relieved just to see a heartbeat) but will def get a pic at my next one - only one week to go til i get to see bubs again! I'll be 9 weeks so should be able to see some little arms and legs! :smiliedance:

I am booked for a scan next friday, basically just to check the dates and heartbeat etc. I cant wait!!

I had my u/s this morning. Was so so so scared - but ALL IS WELL!!!!!!!!

Can't tell you how relieved I was. Little blob all safely in place - we heard the heartbeat which was one of the more amazing things I have ever heard in my life. I burst into tears and DH had tears in his eyes (denied it later of course) - he said all looks perfect, heartbeat 145, 1.3cm, 7 weeks 4 days (exactly what i thought, take THAT GP, who keeps telling me I am 9 weeks), due 7 October.

My god - this is really happening!!!

Pictures not really worth posting, but I am looking at them every two minutes!

I cant wait until mine tomorrow (it got moved forward 6 days as DH is now going to be away with work middle to end of next week when the original one was going to be). I am 7 Weeks today! :smiliedance: I am hanging out to know it is all ok and there is a strong heartbeat (or two!)...

I found this web site... scroll all the way down to the bottom a 3D/4D scans... i watched a 4D scan of a 7 week old embryo and saw it moving! :eek:
You can click links down the bottom and view different gestations. And OMG those videos (very short) are amazing! (click 'play movie')

Ok Nicole, look at what time I am posting this! I just got off that website with all the 3/4d scans. Amazing. And all those videos are just so heartwarming, knowing that the little being inside me is progressing so quickly. Being able to see exactly what it looks like right now at only 7.3 weeks, is so cool!!

I had my scan yesterday. They couldn't measure for dates because bubs was too high up in my uterus, even with an internal. And whilst I didnt hear it, I saw the flicker of it's heartbeat!!

No piccies - and I am not going to bother going back in a cple of weeks, will go again for my 12 week scan.

Now to check out this site LOL

That's great Tank Girl. And OMG Nicole, that's the most amazing site. Me and DH have watched almost every one now I think! Hard to put those DVDs together with what is actaully happening in your own body, isn't it??!!

I had my first appointment with my Ob this morning - she was lovely. have now got appointments booked up until the 7 October - this is really happening!
