i was wondering if anyone has easy recipces for toffy
thankyou.
no sorry, I have memories of eating my fillings out with toffee, so I cant eat it anymore:(
I think its sugar and vinegar?
This is from a really old Womens Weekly card set that used to belong to my mum! An oldie but still a goodie.
Place 3 cups white sugar, 1 cup water and 1/4 cup brown malt vinegar in a saucepan and stir over low heat until sugar is dissolved. Increase heat until boiling rapidly. Boil for 15 minutes or until a small amount, when poured into cold water, cracks.
Remove from heat and stand saucepan in cold water for 1 minute. Remove and allow bubbles to subside before pouring into paper patty cases. Leave 2 minutes and decorate with hundreds & thousands or whatever topping you prefer. This recipe makes about 12 toffees.
yeah, but how do you get them to NOT stick to the paper? im not a fan of eating paper:no:

rub the inside of the paper trays with oil .. or butter to stop it from sticking
