wondering about asthma?

Hi all!
I'm just wondering if anyone knew about what age a baby is diagnosed with asthma? Does it differ with all bubs or is it usually something that develops once they're at the toddler stage?
My DD hasn't got it but it was just something that has crossed my mind. I wouldn't know what to do or what to look out for if she was to develop it.

Doctors are not supposed to dignose before 12 months, as asthma symptoms could actually be infections like bronculitis phneamonia etc. these problems can become serious if not treated apporopriately.
Once a baby has reached 12 months and still presents with the same symtoms without infections etc, they can SAFELY say they have asthma.
This is just what my girls' paed told me.

my bro was diagnosed before 6 months with chronic broncul asthma.
my ds1 was diagnosed at 15 months. i was diagnosed at 18 yrs:laughing:
