Hi, I always keep an eye on the recipe threads as you all have some amazing recipes - most of which you just don't seem to find ALL in one recipe book. And even better you all know how good they taste and recommend them to other Bub Hubbers.

I guess what I am trying to say is I need a project and I thought it would be great to put all of your fantastic recipes in a book.

1. How much would be a reasonable cost for said book?

2. How would you like to see it bound?
I was thinking comb binding them but will look into other binding and depending on cost wise as to which is most effective and durable.

For double ups on recipes I would like us all to try them (making them ourselves first) and then voting on the best for ease of cooking and taste.

Depending on how many recipes we might have to separate Family foods, Desserts and kids recipes etc.

I would also be asking Bubhub's permission first and ask to use their logo and they would have final approval.

So I am wondering if any of you would be interested? Or is this a silly idea?

i think its a good idea...you could even put it in the good deeds section (???maybe) and use it to raise money for a charity (maybe a food collection charity or something).

After seeing a thing on TV about some dodgy people with food charity I would be a bit wary and as most of them are linked to churches it would be difficult to decide which one in addition to us all being in different states so I would think we would have to stick to a children's health foundation (which is all close to our hearts) and is Australia wide.

What a great idea Nicole! I'd be happy to participate, particularly if it was for a good charity like Make a Wish or a similar children's charity as you suggested.

What a wonderful idea :yelclap: I would definately buy one. Bub hub receipes have come to the rescue so many times and to have them all collated together would be great.
I have bought a couple of receipe books from local clubs/preschools etc and they have all been bound together using a binding comb with a clear plastic cover and backing. That works really well, easy to stay open & durable. I paid about $10 or $15 for each one (they are not overly large). However I would be willing to pay more for a larger book and especially if profits were going to charity.
Let us know if you need any help with anything, i'd be happy to contribute and trial some receipes.

What a fantastic idea. I would be interested in buying one of these and also contributing a recipe or 2.

Thanks ladies for your responses but since there hasn't been much feedback I don't know whether I can do it as I would need the support & permission of nearly all the BH's that have posted recipes.

Oh well never mind maybe another time.
