Sorry if this sounds silly, but Is it really necessary for DH to hold off on bding for about a week before ovulation? Does this really make the little tackers swim faster and stronger?

No I dont think that is true. Apparently if you BD every day the supply of sperm is fresh and therefore faster stronger swimmers.

I am roughly 7 weeks pregnant and DH and I BD 2 days before, 1 day before and 1 day after ovulation.

Goodluck getting your :bfp:

gyn said to BD every 2nd day
That's what our FS said to us. Every 2nd day is more than enough. Phew! At least we get a few days of peace each week! It definitely gets tiring doesn't it?!;)

My FS said to BD every 2nd day. Getting the swimmers in there before you actually ovulate is better anyways apparently. And if he doesnt ahem let them go for a week before the ones that come out first will apparently be weaker than normal ones. So it is actually better to keep BDing as often as you can to keep the swimmers young and healthy so to speak...

I am sure that is right, correct me if I am wrong girls...

LOL I hope your Dp plans to er relieve himself in between BD's then, other wise he will have very sore/heavy balls holding off for a week... did he think of that??

Men .

My Dp and i BD everyday LOL and i fell pregnant. But i have heard every 2 days is fine too.

told every second day too! thank goodness, cause I just dont think I could every day

We were told 7 days is too much of a break, and the swimmers would be less mobile..

Seems most of us have been told the same thing for once!! YAY!:fingerscrossed: it works soon!!
