what do you think of the name Leilah??? It has become my husband's and my new fave grils name... it was Mikayla... but we agree with you all who said it becoming too common...... and we say the Name Leila the other day.... we really liked it.

but it reminds me of one of the characters in that lame cartoon called Futurama. Her name is Leila and she has one eye and purple hair. Good body though....

My DP loves it, it's on Fox 8 and maybe used to be on Ch.10.

I like the name Leila but it just reminds me of that. I felt so bad saying it. I thought I should mention it though because it might be a popular show with the kids of the current generation.

Lilah is nice too (from Angel) she wasn't a good character though....

I am really not a fan of that name at all.


My cousin's name is Leila and she turned out to be a lying lesbian, so it kinda put a black mark on that name for me.

I love the name Leilah! It's such a pretty name. Friends of ours has a 1 year old named Leilah and she is just gorgeous!

Hi. I like the name Leilah it is very pretty. Some other names for you-
Leilani- it means "Heavenly Flower" and is Hawaiian.
I dont know if you will like this one I saw it in a book I read and I think it is Scottish- Mykadie. I like it but my hubby didn't.

More importantly, if you love it, go for it!

Don't worry about negative comments, as I always say "the name becomes the person", so when you see your beautiful baby grow and her personality emerge you will only know her as this lovely name :)
