Hi All,
Just thought I'd share....I went to a fabulous baby sling "work shop" on the week end.
The work shops are based in Brisbane, free, and are a great no obligation way to try before you buy......so if your into it & like me, trying to sift through the websites to figure out which sling may be right for you and your babe, I can highly recomend checking out the "carrying away" website to see when Amanda is having her next get together.
I came away with some great tips and am even going to challenge my sewing skills and try to whip up a basic tube sling for myself

Hi Kerrie, I plan to use a baby sling/carrier for the first 6 months or so, so am very interested in the baby sling workshop... Can you give me her details please, Haana :)

I wish I had known about slings when I had my babies as I think they are great. They look cooler than the front carrier I had. I abandoned it as bub and I both got too hot. I have heard there are cheesecloth slings as well which would be great for summer babies in this hot climate.
