Hey everyone,

I just finished taking my first cycle of clomid on the 7th, I have to go back to the doctor for blood tests on the 27th to see if i ovulated and also if im pregnant (:fingerscrossed: ) - a bit of background history is that I havent had AF since october last year so the doc put me on clomid to force ovulation as i wasnt ovulating at all. My Gyno told me that i I do not fall pregnant this cycle I will get my period-providing clomid does its job. My query is have any of you been through this? when should I roughly be expecting aunty flo to come to town? im so anxious  every little niggly cramp i get im like oooo implantation pain  :o

Dont know much about this situation, however I have PCOS and I have used Clomid. I went on Clomid November last year but I had to wait for AF before they let me take it and then I took it on 2nd day of bleeding. I fell pregnant first time on Clomid. I didnt realise you could take it to get your period back but thanks for posting this Thread, maybe I will ask my FS about this as I am currently waiting for AF to come back after I m/c the baby we conceived on Clomid in January. Its been 7 weeks! Anyways my cycles before Clomid ranged from 35 days to 42 days sometimes even longer but most months were about 42ish days. But when I went on Clomid I ovulated on exactly day 14 of cycle and I got my BFP on exactly 14DPO! I have never had such a normal cycle in my life!

Hi there Kizmet,

Yes, if the clomid has worked, you should get af anywhere between 12-16 days after you ovulated (if you arent pg). Like Pebbles, I had to have af before starting the clomid, but I guess every dr is different. Anything is possible, but I wouldnt necessarily expect to get pg on this cycle as you havent had af since Oct and your endometrial lining may be a bit old....Im no expert tho so dont give up hope! :) Hoping your bt reveals that you did ovulate! Good luck!
