I am offically fed up. My daughter vomits, it's reflux, apparantly, but this is violent, every 45 minute kind of vomitting that occurs every week or so. then stops for a day then gradually gets worse.
We aren't even feeding her into her stomach the milk goes directly into her small bowel so she just vomits yellow bile instead.
I am so sick of the experts starting every conversation with "Well..we don't really know why but....." or "Your daughter is very special." This is every single one of the 6 teams involved with my daughter. Why are metabolic conditions so damned hard to work out???????????
Okay, she's vomitting again so better go

If it makes you feel any better I accidentally undid Ag's cap on her ng tube today and got "vomit" all over the carpet her bed etc, took me about 15 min to work out where the vomit was coming from because she wasn't vomiting (ah der) LOL

How did the appountment go???????????
I know a little girl that does the SAME thing! She is nearly 3 and has other 'problems' but they call it 'cyclic vomitting sydrome'.... I think.
She goes in cycles, she will be fine and then she will have a week or more where she just vomits and vomits... you touch her, she vomits, she moses, she vomits. She will then ease up and be ok for a few days and then it starts again.
Does this sound familiar???

Yes! We are currently in the process of documenting everything to see if she has it. It takes a long time to diagnose and with Megan's other issues, it's hard to know which vomitting is from the meds, or from an infection like a cold etc etc. Also when we don't feed her, she doesn't vomit......will keep on documenting.

My Charlie throws up alot, they are still going down the reflux path even though he is 2 now. We are going in for day surgery on Friday to check for acid burn and investigate any other possible problems or causes.
Poor little guy. Aside from cringing from the foul taste he just gets on with it.
