Bye bye my little Arnie

Well as some of you know my poor puss was sick at the end of Dec, we took him to the vet and he was given a quarterzone and a shot of anti biotics and he seemd to be back to his normal self a few days later

6-7 weeks later he is sick again and unfortunately we have had to say goodbye to Arnie :crying:

he was very old (14) and wouldnt have been able to come through an anasthetic (sp?) and eventually the antibiotics wouldnt work, the vet said he also would have been having kidney and liver failure along with cancers:crying:
so we had to make the hard yet most humane decision to put him to sleep

Arnie was a beautiful cat, always cuddly and smoochy

im upset but also happy that he is now in a better place!

I told my DD when she got home from school that Arnie had died and she doesnt quite understand , she keeps asking whens he going to come back and that shes sad :(

we went to the nursery and bought a rose bush and planted it where we burried him in his favorite sitting place

he can now play with my other cats that i have lost over the years
