Did anyone see the story on today tonight last night on the O'connor family?
Their mum passed away from a kidney disease leaving the five kids behind with aged 20 - 9. There is no dad or extended family to help them, but they are determined to stick together with the older daughter having left school to be her mums full time carer, and has now taken on the role of mother to the four younger siblings.
The reason why I am asking as they live here in my little country town and are really great kids for all they have had to go through.
My dh has worked with 3 of them 2 go to my ds school.
The poor things my heart goes out to them they are really great kids.
There is an appeal set up at the Bendigo Bank to help them out, just a thought if anyone has a few dollars to spare. Or you can go to the today tonight website for more info.
