Hi there
Hubby loves lamb chops and we buy them most weeks but I am getting sick of just plain old grilled lamb chops with veggies.
Does anyone have any ideas/suggestions for how I can jazz up lamb chops? Make them a bit more interesting and less dull?
Thank you in advance!
Jessie

I love lamb chops.
I have some in my freezer too so I'll be watching this thread for some inspiration.
I usually just grill mine or put them in the slow cooker with a heap of other things.

You can rub lamb with any of the premix "herb Mixes" from the supermarket.. Cajun, Greek, Italian - etc It goes really well with anything..
Just throw them onto a hot pan and fry till cooked.
For the crumbed lamb chops.. dip in flour, then egg then crumbs.. press the crumbs on really firmly .. some people re-dip in egg then into crumbs again, but I find it too messy and cant be bothered :D
Put them in the fridge for at least an hour before cooking to give the crumbs time to set - then you have less chance of pulling them off the pan and leaving the crumbs behind lol.

Just put them in an oven dish and pour over a tin of tomatoes. If you want to add chopped onions or herbs you can. Bake. Easy and tasty.

I can't stand lamb but DH likes it so this is the only way we have it at our place - crumbed lamb cutlets:
mix together some dry crumbs, finely grated lemon zest, finely chopped parsley and finely grated parmesan cheese. Crumb, allow to set in fridge and then fry. Serve with green salad and a vinegary dressing to help cut through the fattiness of the lamb.
