Hi all. Just in the last couple of days, I've had weird 'growing pains' and DH and I looked at my belly last night and thought there had been a big change just in the past couple of days. I've been taking my photo each week since about week 9 and there has just been a very gradual change, right up until Monday this week. But last night (ie just three days later) we took another photo, and it seems to have changed shape completely.
Is this what people refer to as the stomach popping out? Is it supposed to happen just within a few days or over a longer period?
I'm almost 16 weeks? Is it normal for the belly to pop about now in a first pregnancy? Or is this early/late?
How do I know when I've popped?

Sounds like you've popped to me! I regarded "popping" as feeling and seeing quite a big change in the shape of my tummy.
I think I popped at around 17 weeks.
Congratulations on your pregnancy!

I'd say you popped babe.
I think that I popped around 16-17 weeks with DD.

chicken, i think i'm the same as you. didn't really notice any major changes, then just on saturday (16.5 weeks) i noticed the area below my belly button was a strange roundish shape! and when i suck my stomach in, its still there! also i can now feel a firm shape under there somewhere. :)

I'm 15 weeks and 4 days and I'd say I'm very close to popping, my tummy had changed a bit just in the last couple of days and sucking it in is a big effort (and it doesnt really work so I just let it all hang out!!).
Yep i base it on the sucking in ability and hardness of it!
First time round i popped at 11 weeks, was quite skinny but had a belly.
This time there was ahell of a lotta old flabby house left and i just cant be bothered sucking it in
Funny though, cause although i am plumper all over this time to start with i dont think my actual baby belly is any bigger. Seems weird but I am not complainin:D

This is me too!
I'm sure that what's showing is more fat than anything else. But I'm dressing like it's all baby, so that I look pregnant rather than just fat.
Gotta love the empire line and wrap tops!
