Hi! Here it is - the thread for those who are in the wait for either af or BFP. This is for those who aren't in the 2WW because their wait is much longer (usually due to m/c). We thought we'd start this thread to support one another as it's frustrating seeing people complain about the 2 week wait when we're just waiting and waiting. Anyways, we'll see how this works. I'll colour you red on the fabulous day that af arrives and if by chance you get a BFP - well, you'll get the whole treatment!! We'll put the date of either m/c or last af.
Waiting Since...
22.12.06 anxiousEm BFP!!
26.12.06 Mini BFP!!
03.01.07 Pebbles BFP!!
12.01.07 Widget

I agree - good idea. I hope all our waits are nice short ones and this thread gets lost in the other pages of old threads!!

Just wondering if I could join you guys? I haven't experienced a loss since July 05. But I'm waiting for af or a :bfp: I tested this morning and got a :bfn: but I'm 2 days late today and counting.
Amy - Of course you can join us! Lets hope this is a lucky Thread for us women that have had awful losses. Good luck getting that BFP!! Maybe you will be the first BFP for this Thread... :fingerscrossed: Can I ask how many cycles you have had since M/C? I am asking because I had a M/C 6 weeks ago and I still havent got AF back yet. Its driving me nuts but I have heard that cycles can get all screwed up after a M/C. I dont need any more screwed up cycles than I already got, I have PCOS so my cycles are already pretty frustrating!
Anyways here is some :wizard: for you!
Yay - good work Xpectant :yelclap:
So as I mentioned yesterday, I noticed EWCM yesterday but after a lengthy chat last night, DH and I have decided to wait until AF comes before we start TTC again (under recommenation of my Ob) ...so no BDing for me on Valentines Day :p
But I am excited about the appearance of EWCM, as it hopefully means AF is only a week or 2 away.
Pebbles - have you noticed any EWCM yet??
Prudie - Nope. None. But that is not unusual as I dont usually ovulate naturally anyway due to my PCOS. I was hoping that I might ovulate naturally after m/c, like maybe the D&C would have cleaned me out and make my body do the right thing but not looking likely unfortunatly. :(

 - not sure I really belong here.. I am waiting, but not sure what Im waiting for.. AF or O or BFP, I have no idea anymore. I had a very early misscarrige in December, A D&C in Janurary, and I have had what I thought was AF Last Friday, but it was very short, and went away, so me thinks maybe breakthrough bleeding? - I really Dont know..
My last Real AF was Dec 4
3 workmates have become Preg, I have Turned 30 and Chris's Swimmers have come back A.O.K in the time between that last AF and Now.. Seems like forever..

I was due for af on Monday the 12th of Feb. I got another :bfn: yesterday morning.
With a m/c sometimes it makes your cycles wacky but they say you can be more fertile following a m/c too.
I had my first M/C in Jan 05 (6w4ds) then it took us to June to fall pg again but m/c 6w3ds but we got our :bfp: for my son the very next month in Aug 05. So I've had both ends of the scale with m/c and falling again.
:fingerscrossed: that this makes us a lucky group and that we all see those much awaited :bfp:
Hi girls  can I join too please? I'm on Day 16 of a 32 day cycle but ovulate on slightly different day each month and I had 2 m/c's last year and go crazy during the 2WW, so I would love to be a part of this even though I'm probably a few days behind anyone else, if this ok?:hugs:

Welcome everyone!! Just PM me your "waiting since" date and I'll add you to the list. Hopefully we'll all be coloured red or pink soon!!
Ooohh I would so love to be pink but right now I would be so happy to be red. 6 weeks, 1 day and counting. DH reckons AF is on her way cozI have been so moody and have absolutely no patience for anything at the moment. That is always how I get right before AF. Mind you I also usually get cramps like a week before AF, thats how I know she is coming. But although I have had on and off little niggling cramps here and there for a couple weeks it hasnt been the solid non-stop cramps I usually get. I posted a Thread in the 'Support after Pregnancy Loss' section titled 'How much longer...' and a few of the girls said that after their D&C their AF didnt come back for like 8 weeks. So I have decided to give it until last day of Feb and if it still aint back I will really get mad! :banghead:
Anyways hope we are all PINK very soon. Oh wouldnt it be so nice if it was just one big list of pink names by the middle of the year!

I had a MC in Jan & AF has just left after arriving on 10/2. Now the waiting begins :fingerscrossed: everyone gets a BFP very soon :hugs:
I would like to join you to, i haven't had a mc but AF was due on Mon(CD31) and still no sign, A BFN on WED also so just waiting waiting:banghead: No symptoms of AF showing up either just very cranky:laughing:

Hey Girls,
Isn't this excellent, thank you to Expectant for starting this thread.
Why, why, why am I so impatient!! Have always been the same with everything, but this is killing me LOL! It has been 4 weeks now since my D&C and not a twinge of anything. I have been moody, but that came and went so I think I have a couple more weeks to wait yet. My little Clearblue ovulation kit is just sitting there waiting to be used, but would just be a waste of my pee and a stick LOL!!
Let's all hope we don't have to much longer to wait girls, otherwise my head will be :banghead:.

Hi all. If I have put in your date wrong just let me know and I'll be happy to change it. Looks like I may be coloured pink very soon (I was predicting the 18th). Last night I've started noticing a slight tinge when I wipe. I just hope this is the start of my regular cycles again. I am amazed at how different everything is after the m/c. Previously af would just arrive with a bang - and now it seems she sneeks her way in slowly. Crazy!

i can empathise here peoples:yes:
took me 34 days to get AF back and i thought it would never come. just when i gave up hope it arrived. previously i had 30 day cycles, so this one was just a tad longer - but the good news is that the following one was 29 days. p'raps it was my body trying to right things a bit- getting it back into some semblance of routine or summink.
best of luck that AF arrives soon for those that want it!!!:D
I can empathise too. I had a d&c on 5 October and didn't get a proper AF again until 31 Dec - so nearly three months. My last cycle was six weeks long too!! The waiting is just so frustrating isn't it!! :banghead: :banghead:

I'm going to join you ladies too...
I'm still waiting for AF since my M/C in January, so its been just over 3 weeks... I've never really taken much notice of my CM before, so not sure if what I think is EWCM is actually it... If it was, I've had EWCM for 2 days now - that means I've O'd right??
DH and I are going to wait until after my first AF to start trying (depending one when she arrives as we don't want a bubs born too close to xmas)
Hoping and wishing this is a lucky thread and we all get AF or BFP very soon...
It's been about 3 weeks since my D&C and we are TTC but so far no AF.....
Haven't had a look at this mucus thing that you girls know more about :D but I don't think I have it.....
Am I supposed to get some mucus - is that a sign? What do I look for?

Hi Bigglet,
During your cycle your CM changes depending on what stage of the cycle you are at. Normal CM which you have when you are not ovulating is normally just clear/white, somethings thick and pasty. But when you are about to/are ovulating it is sort of like the consistency of egg white. If you "ehem" take some between your fingers and it is slimy and stretches like egg white does then that is what you are having at the moment. I have learnt so much over the last few months about all this. Until I started TTC I didn't have an absolute clue about what I was looking for or doing. Anyone else correct me if I am giving the wrong advice, as I would hate to be telling boo boos!!
Nita xxx
Sounds spot on to me 1st Time Mummy.
I too have learnt sooo much about the whole "having a baby" process since we starting TTC back in September. The female body is quite an amazing thing really.
Have had EWCM for the last 2 days, so guess I am Oing now (or about to) but as I have mentioned, DH and I are waiting till I've had my first AF before we start TTC again. So frustrating though!!!!!!!!!!!!
At least I can look forward to AF in the next week or so...fingers crossed :fingerscrossed:
Feeling like we're going to start seeing a few BFPs in this thread before long :smiliedance: BRING IT ON

oh thank you!!!
It's amazing what you learn from these posts!!!
I have no egg white mucus at the moment so I guess it means I'm not ovulating yet
Waiting game for me......
Hehe, I think you may be right Prudie. I have a good feeling about this Thread.
1sttimemummy - spot on! I always love seeing how people describe EWCM! Unfortunately I dont get any EWCM as I have PCOS and therefore dont ovulate naturally (so I am told  ). I wish I could get some EWCM and prove my FS wrong! Oh well.
Update for me - Nothing. *sigh* Still no AF, still no sign of AF, nothing, nothing, nothing. :banghead:

Just a question to you all......will you be scared to tell people about your BFP till after you reach the 12 week mark?
I know with us, we never considered not telling people....till this happened. Now I think we will keep it to ourselves till we are "safe." I dont want to do it, but the MC scared me so much. I'm worried that if I tell people it will happen again, but if I dont & I mc, they wont know.
I'm even confusing myself here :o
DH and I have talked about this and decided that, like last time, we will tell our families and closest friends...and BH of course!!! And then wait for the 12 week mark to announce it to the rest of the world.
I am taking on the perspective that next time will be a completely different experience and to try not and let what happened last time affect our happiness and excitement.
We'll see how we go I guess.

I will be petrified.. I will be petrified after 12 weeks though too probably :o I think I would feel like I was "jinxing" myself if I told anyone other than Bubhubbers and DH before 12 weeks.. If that makes any sense??

I feel the same way anxiousEm :hugs: The problem is, I dont want some people that I know to know & they know who I am on here :o They just said some things that were very selfish & hurtful when they found out we were ttc & then pg.

It would brite!:hugs: - I am kinda glad that I don't know anyone in R/L that knows who I am on here.. and mega glad that no-one has been so hurtful to me.. sorry they were to you.. very very tricky..
maybe you could go "incognito" when the big BFP day arrives, just for 12 weeks or so? But maybe that would feel odd and Jinxy too..
Oh it does get confusing don't it..
I would be very scared to tell anyone. DH was so excited last time that he told the whole world! This time I am only going to tell one of my closest friends and my Mum. I aint even gonna tell my MIL as she didnt cope well last time when I had m/c.
Hi everyone!
This thread is a great idea. I could sure have used it over the past year.
Pebbles, I hate to be a bad example, but ever since my D&C last year I have been all over the shop. Past cycles:
D&C: 31 July
AF: 29 October
AF: 2 December
AF: 23 January
And now... the wait!
Actually it's quite appropriate that this thread has popped up this month, cos this is my last cycle of trying naturally. If this one is 6 weeks or more then I'm going to need some medical intervention :crying:
DH + I have decided that this time we will tell the parents at 5 or 6 weeks, then maybe the siblings a couple of weeks later, then everyone else after a 12 week ultrasound or something.
I literally told the whole world last time - as in it was even printed in a newspaper article! And while it was good that people knew I had to 'un-tell' people for months afterwards. And it's always awkward because you don't want to make the other person feel bad for asking...
Speaking of "un-telling" people...
Only today I ran into a friend of a friend who congratulated me on my pregnancy...I then had the awkward moment of telling her that I am not pregnant anymore. That was fun...NOT!!
She felt awful, and I could see the embarassment on her face, but she could relate as her brother and his wife had 3 m/c before having a healthy baby.
Another "moment" in the whole TTC saga. Should be on a mintie wrapper
I get sooooooooo many people ask me "So when are you guys having another baby?" and I'm like "well funny you should ask - I just had a m/c" and they then go all quiet and embarrassed......
At first it was hard to say that but it's the only way I found to get a lot of people off my back asking when another baby is coming (as if I don't want one- HELLO!!) but yeah.... I only tell close friends and family before 12 weeks and those on bubhub (none of my friends/family are bubhubbers).....
It's funny re the 12 week mark....
when I was 12 weeks pregnant with my DD.... I went off snowboarding!!! I wouldn't dream of doing such a thing if I got pregnant again - I would be sooo cautious now!!!
:D
Yeah I wasnt cautious at all with DS, I fell pregnant by accident (on the pill believe it or not!!) and I knew literally nothing about pregnancy or TTC or 3 mth mark or anything so I basically did what I would do any other day pretty much right up until I had him! Mum reckons the reason everything went so well the first time is coz I was so relaxed but who knows!
Speaking of DS it is his bday tomorrow, he will be 6. This time 6 years ago I had just started to realise I was in labour. Oh what I wouldnt give to be doing that right now!

A big happybirthday to your DS Pebbles...
Bigglet, the same thing happened to me yesterday - I went out to lunch with some work people and they asked when we would be having another and told them that 'I was but recently lost it' and then couldn't stop saying sorry... I could see how bad they felt...
I think we will only tell parents at about 6-7 weeks and then close family and friends about 10 weeks (thats what we did with DS) and then after the ultrasound we'll tell everyone else... I will of course be telling all the bubhubbers at BFP time... I will also probably tell the girls I work with at about the 6-7 week mark too - just incase morning sickness sets in...

I think I'll still tell close friends and some family. It was really hard as I didn't tell all my friends and then needed them for support when I lost bub - so then had to tell them the whole story - it was very awkward. I think you should tell whoever you know will be of support to you if you happen to m/c again. I had told my Mum she could tell family but she thought I meant her family - so all my relatives - even 2nd cousins etc knew - I'll try to stop that next time. I just can't imagine going through it all again without support. If people ask me now - I still don't tell them about the m/c - maybe when I've had a baby I will...
happybirthday to your son Pebbles!!!
Have to say that you guys have all been a wonderful support team for me and I love you all here! It's like therapy when I feel down and no one else understands or just thinks I'm an emotional fruitcake!!

I have my AF come today ( and she is mean) so that was a 5 week cycle, i am still BF DD, do you think this is why my cycle is longer than normal?
Hi Morgan - I saw that you'd been having cycle dramas too since your D&C, and you've been trying some natural therapies? Is there anything that's working for you?
Hi Girls
Well I am feeling more frustrated than ever. Still no AF, still no sign of AF. Its driving me crazy. I keep getting little cramps of a sore boob or fuller boobs and think "Ok this is it, its gonna come now" and then the little sign goes away and AF never comes. Grrr! :banghead:
Oh well what can I do? I have an appointment with my GP on Friday so I winge to him about it and see if he can help!

Well no sign of AF here... It will be 4 weeks tomorrow since D&C, but hink I was O'ing last week, so that could mean AF might come next week...
Kind of hoping she arrives this week, so then we can try straight away, with bubs due last November (if we catch the first eggs of course)... Otherwise, we might just wait a few months to have a 2008 bubs...
Really can't make any decisions until she arrives...
I have my post D&C checkup on Wednesday... Hope everything will be OK with that...
No AF for me either!!! Not really expecting her till next week (think I Oed last week too), but would be nice if she arrived a week early :fingerscrossed:
I have a wedding this Friday though and we're staying in a hotel for it, so at least the excitement of that will take my mind of the waiting game for a couple of days....(yeah right  )

Oh Pebbles hon, :hugs: 's Hurry up AF!
I had some EWM and a + OPK yesterday! I dont really know what that means, other that the Doc said if I get confirmation of O (bloodtest on CD22) than my "bleed" a week and a half ago was probably AF!!!!! - he said that the flow can be very different after a D&C which I guess might explain why it was so short.. so I am :fingerscrossed: that it was AF and hopefully we are back in the TTC game.. only 12 days to wait for BT.. after all this freaking waiting, I think I can cope with that!!!!!!!!!!!
I'm with you all!!!
It's been 4 weeks since my D&C (5th week on Thursday) and technically I should be expecting it this week or now basically if my cycle is back to normal.....
I've been naughty and couldn't wait for my first AF and have been TTC - not a lot mind you.... but have tried (I know, I know... impatient me!!) but now I can't wait to get back on track and have an AF so I can properly calculate the cycle and all.......

Bigglet - I have been naughty and have been TTC before my first AF too. However in my case its highly unlikely I will fall pregnant without fertility drugs due to my PCOS so I guess its not really that naughty. My FS did tell me that I shouldnt TTC until at least after my first AF though and she wont let me go back on Clomid until 2nd AF after m/c :( . No real cramps yet, but have felt some "movement at the station" and did have EWCM last week, so thinking AF can't be too far away. But I am so with you Nita, it's soooo frustrating not knowing where your body is at.
You know what's the saddest thing of all for me, I almost feel like I was never pg - it all seemed to happen so quickly, one minute I getting a BFP, and next minute I was having a d&c. I was pg for 10 weeks, and it seems like it was only a few days.
Anyway, onwards and upwards...and the arrival of AF :D

Pebbles and 1st Time Mummy!, happy anniversary... Hope your day is better than mine (had D&C the day before my anniversary)
Still nothing with me...
I had my 4 week checkup tonight and have been given the green light once AF arrives... It was so good to hear the OB say that everything looks good and the results from pathology were normal... No just have to wait for AF (can't believe I want it so bad)...
AF and BFP vibes going out to all...
Crazey Monkey - Glad to hear that everything went well at your checkup today.
Well I have an update! Its not much, still no sign of AF. But I got very grumpy this arvo that AF hasnt come yet and its been 7 weeks since m/c today. So I rang FS and demanded they do something! She said the best she can do for now is do a BT tomorrow morning. So by tomorrow arvo I might have some idea on what is happening with my body! I am so excited that something is being done. Pebbles YAY!!! You go girl! Thats a great step, and like you said, least you will have some idea about whats going on with your body! I hope your levels show AF is on her way hon!
Thanks Em and you are definately not alone hun! I feel exactly the same way. I am petrified of getting BFP but at the same time I am so excited. I dont think I could handle another m/c but I am trying to think positive that just coz I had one doesnt mean I will have another. I guess for me I am trying to focus on the fact that at least we know we can actually conceive a child together, that is a huge load off. Ya hear about some couples that their bodies just dont go well together and they cant conceive no matter what they try. Well at least in our situation we know that we can conceive now the next step is holding onto our little one when we finally get blessed with a BFP!
hey everyone...
anxiousem - yay!!! woo hooo:yelclap: I can't believe I'm happy you got you AF.... sounds so corny doesn't it but yes I understand being afraid of a BFP especially after the m/c.... I would feel the same way....
It's been 5 weeks since my m/c and still no AF.... this is usually late for me if I go by my normal cycles and I have no symptoms either of getting it like that mucus thing you girls talk about.... :D although last night I had a few pimples on my chin which I thought could be a sign but it could also have been due to the massive amounts of chocolate I have been guiltily guzzling
I'm with you Pebbles!! Feel exactly the same way...

Hi everyone,
Your thread must be working - AF came for me today. As much as I wanted to see her, I had since convinced myself I was pg, so I was a bit shocked to see her! BUT - its a start!
I wish you all the best in your wait, I hope it isn't too long and hope this will all be a distant memory down the track. :hugs:
No Probs Em!
I am having a frustrating day as well. I rang my FS yesterday coz I got grumpy that I havent got AF back yet and its been over 7 weeks. They said that I need to go for a BT this morning to see what my hormones are doing and they will have some answers for me by this arvo. So I waited and waited and then couldnt wait anymore and rang them. Apparently they havent received my results yet! Grrr I am so angry, they always get my results by like 2pm and the one day that I am almost at the end of my tether with stupid WAITING and the results dont come in! :banghead:
Mini - Congrats on getting AF. And sorry you were disappointed. :hugs: But at least you are back to normal now.

Pebbles, I hope the results are given to you asap (secretly I hope you are pregnant). If not at least you will have some answers.

Congratulations on AF Mini... sounds weird saying that...
Pebbles, I hope your results come back first thing in the morning so you can stop STRESSING... Lets hope the results can give you ideas on what is happening with your body...
anxiousEm, I know exactly how you feel about getting a BFP... I'm kind of scared about even DB to conceive...
Last night was the first time DH and I DB since my D&C and I think it was really the first time I became scared and worried about TTC... I'm sure its a normal feeling but it freaked me out a little... At my doctors appointment, he told me that there is no increased risk of M/C'ing again just because I've had 1, but you can't help but worry... I hope that when a BFP does come my way, I will be able to stay positive and not worry too much... Listen to me babble, think I should be concentrating on getting AF before a BFP...
Still no AF here... but I'm craving chocolate, so maybe she's on the way...
Enough from me...
Colour me PINK girls. I am UTD!!! Just found out today! I am soooo shocked! I am Petrified! But I am OVER THE MOON! This Thread is definately a lucky one. Now I know why it took so long for AF to come back!

Thanks girls.
I will enjoy it, just as soon as I get to that 12 week mark I will feel soooo much better!
At the moment I am struggling with M/S. I woke up with it this morning but it wasnt too bad. Just a bit of dry reaching. I ate some brekky and got through the morning fine. I ate lunch at lunch time coz I know when ya get hungry thats when m/s is sposed to be at its worst. So my belly is full but m/s has just hit me like a ton of bricks. I feel soooo sick. I am eating a carrot to try to make me feel better but so far it aint working! I have to say I am still happy about having m/s though. It can only mean something good!

CONGRATS PEBBLES, Thats great about the BFP :smiliedance: :hugs:
*Congrats Pebbles*
I can't believe you are pregnant! I really thought you were just having the usual hormonal weirdness that M/C can bring. Must have been such a nice shock.
Best wishes for a healthy, happy pregnancy and enjoy the celebrations!
Do you mind if I join?
I'm not sure which date you want... CD1 was 12/01 and AF is late as of 10/02.
So I'm 14 days late and have never been late before.
I haven't had a m/c but I hope I still qualify to join you here.
I done 5 HPT's since, the last one being 20/02 and a blood test on the 22/02 and all have been negative...
Come on over widget and join us.
I know how hard it can be just waiting for damn AF to show.:fingerscrossed: she comes soon so you can back on the TTC wagon
I just can't believe she is playing games with me after all these years of being so predictable!!
How you go from always being on time (down to the minute) the making a cycle last 40 or days???
It's just not fair!!!
I just wish I had sore boobies so I could say I'm just waiting for the HCG levels to rise enough!!
I really don't like waiting!!

I'm DPO today....
I am getting so anxious! having symptoms (or am I reading into things too much?)
wanna test, wanna test... must refrain
Thanks Xpectant! AF decided it was time to come visiting today - I can finally start charting accurately (well, as accurately as I know how) from the start of a cycle!!
4 days is a lot when you're never late!! I just pray I never have a 44 day cycle again!!
Cazza, how many DPO??

8 DPO today :)
Hi Ladies
Just checking in for another week....no AF yet. It's been over 5 weeks since m/c, and thought she would have arrived by now. Can't be far off can it???
Thinking I should just start TTCing anyway - even though DH and I decided to wait until after I had one AF (Ob advice). But with the exciting news of Pebbles' BFP, I'm thinking we should just go for it.
Anyway, keep you posted. :)
Prudie - I think you should start TTC again. Its been 5 weeks, that should be enough time for your body to repair itself. Although on the other hand I am petrified at the moment since I wasnt expecting this BFP at all. I didnt think I could ovulate naturally so I didnt think there was any chance of falling pregnant but I didnt anyway. And looks like I fell pregnant only like 3 weeks after my m/c. Its quite unsettling when ya think of it like that. But I am just thinking if my body wasnt well enough I wouldnt have fallen pregnant. I am trying to be as positive as I can.

Hi girls,
Have been away for 4 days in Melbourne with my SIL shopping. Had a fabulous time, spent lots, ate lots more and walked my little feet off. Is nice to be home and will be looking forward to sleeping in my owne bed.
Well, update: STILL NOTHING HAPPENING!
Was 5 weeks on Saturday since my D&C and I still have not seen a sign of AF. I have had cramps and a bad back, but no change in my CM at all. I have my follow up with my OB on the 6th so if nothing has happened by then, at least I will be able to find out if I am ok. Couldn't be UTD as we have been using condoms since the op so who knows what the problem is !!!
Pebbles, I am sure that you wouldn't of fallen if your body wasn't ready. I had been told that if your uterus wasn't healed enough then the egg wouldn't of stuck at all and you would of had AF instead. SO, enjoy, enjoy, enjoy and I hope most of us will be able to enjoy it with you soon.
Love Nita xxx
Nita - Thanks for saying that. I do feel heaps better this arvo since this happened to me :
http://www.bubhub.com.au/community/forums/showthread.php?t=72092
I am finally feeling like I am able to enjoy this pregnancy. I just hope all you girls get to come over to the pregnancy Threads REALLY soon!
Nita, my FS told me that my AF should come back from 2 to 6 weeks after m/c. I did a calculation and worked out that if I had got my AF back instead of BFP then I would have got AF back at about 5 weeks after m/c. So hopefully yours is very soon!

Prudie, I have been thinking the same since Pebbles wonderful news... "Why are we waiting?", "Why haven't we started TTC yet?", etc etc... Then I think, what if I did fall pregnant and it didn't last I would blame myself for not waiting...
Another thing holding me back is that bubs would be a December baby and both DH and I don't want a bubs born too close to Xmas... So I guess we might be waiting a couple of months to start TTC...
If we do wait then it gives me time to get a little fitter... I've been feeling a little off lately and I'm hoping that by getting a fitter, when I do get my BFP, it will be a sticky healthy one... I know that that's not the reason I lost my angel but the thought just crossed my mind after the D&C...
Well as you can probably tell, AF has not shown up yet and it will be 5 weeks tomorrow... Thought she was going to show late last week, but nope...
Anyway, enough from me...
Good Morning Ladies.
Good News - AF has arrived...phew, for a sec there I thought she'd never come back!!
Must say though, it's not exactly Niagara Falls (is that TMI??)!!!
Now we're really back in the game!!!!

It's been 5 weeks now since curette - will be 6 weeks end of this week :(
Hey Bigglet - It will be 6 weeks this Friday since I had the d&c, so we're the same sort of time line. Am certain your AF can't be too far away.
Will be interesting to see when I O this month - am sure my body is still not quite back to normal yet, so will have to keep a close eye on CM and I have a stack of OPK ready to go.
Am determined to catch that eggie this month. :fingerscrossed:

Hiya Girls,
Haven't been on for a bit as I am so frustrated and annoyed that nothing is happening for me yet. Not a sign of anything at all. It was my first wedding anniversary yesterday and I was glad in way that AF hadn't arrived, for DH's sake IYKWIM ;) LOL!! We stayed at a vineyard called Moorilla for the night. Drunk champers, had a spa.......it was lovely. Helped me to relax and stop stressing a bit. I have my 6 week check up tomorrow at the OB so will be interested to see what he has to say. Can any of you jog my memory on what he will do at this check up?
Expectant, I am HANGING out to be coloured red......just seems to be taking too long. I know the doctor said 4-8 weeks I think, but I am normally pretty regular so don't know what is going on. Can't be pregnant as we have been using protection so who knows!!
Crazy Monkey, congrats to you on getting AF!! :smiliedance: I will be scared as well when the time comes, but we will all have sticky bubs next time.
Rainbowbrite and Dangerkitty, fingers crossed that you both have a sticky BFP!!!
Prudie, as you say with the big O "BRING IT ON" LOL!! I will be counting down the days when it happens for me too!!
Bigglet, are you still with me on the waiting game? Last I heard you had no sign of AF either....here's hoping for us both this week.
xxx Nita
Hey Nita - Congatulations on your 1st wedding anniversary. And I think it's really great that you got to have a few drinks to celebrate and to enjoy just being you and DH. Valentine
I also had a few drinks on Sat night - we were celebrating my BIL graduation. Figured that it could well be the last night out I have in a loooong time, so why not have a few drinks. Have a wedding in 3 weeks in the Hunter Valley, but if all goes to plan I will be designated driver due to a BFP!!!
:fingerscrossed: :fingerscrossed:
Hi Girls
How is everybody doing?
Congrat on getting AF Crazey Monkey, now you can finally start TTC again.
DangerKitty - Oh how exciting! You should do a test!
RB - What you are feeling is perfectly understandable. My advice is dont let your fear destroy what could possibly be a wonderful time. You have already had one AF so that is a good thing. I didnt have any AF's before I got my BFP and although I am a little worried that I got preg too soon I am trying not to let the fear get to me. The way I am trying to look at it is my body wouldnt have got pregnant if it wasnt ready. I hope I am right and I hope you get your BFP the minute you are ready for it.
Xpectant - How are you hun? Where are you at in your cycle atm?
Prudie - Good luck with this cycle! I hope you get your BFP before your other friends! :D
1stimeMummy - So sorry to hear you are feeling so frustrated hun :hugs: . But glad to hear you had a great anniversary. Good luck for you Ob appointment tomorrow.
Well I have been sick, sick, SICK! M/S has hit me real bad. Still feeling good about it though! Its worse than it was last week so I am hoping this is a good sign! Two more sleeps until I get to see my little Button on u/s, I am nervous as anything but also excited.

05-03-2007, 19:55
Pebbles, the M/S must be awful - but reassuring at the same time!! I'm currently day 18 of an unknown cycle length. Before my m/c I alternated between 26 and 24 days. So I could actually test in under a week but am hoping will power will keep me going to at least Friday week...
Xpectant - Good luck holding out. I really hope you get your BFP this cycle hun. We need to see some more pink on the list!
Hi all!
Well no sign of AF and it had been 6 weeks so on the weekend I finally made an appointment to see the doctor - he said it wasn't uncommon for it to take so long after a D&C but we did a pregnancy test and well.... hmmmm...... it came back positive.
Now.... can there be such a thing as a false positive? Say for instance I still carried the pregnancy hormone since the miscarriage and that's why it came up positive? Can this happen?
I have no idea how to feel - I think I'm kinda in shock and maybe a little bit in denial - of course I want this and I should be over the moon but I'm so scared that I'll get attached and be excited and then miscarry again followed by being an emotional wreck. I still get teary just thinking of what happened in January. So RB - I know how you are feeling and it's normal to feel that way (well I assume so anyway coz I certainly do!! :hugs: )
I have made an appointment with my OB in 2 weeks time - I guess this will confirm everything then.
Pebbles - Hope M/S gets better for you but remember that it's a good thing! And all the best for your u/s appointment - how exciting!
I did go to a public toilet this afternoon and when I went in the last person had done a whopper and I nearly :barf: just from the smell - then I thought.... hey maybe I am pregnant and this is a good thing! But then thought nah.... it really was putrid!!!
All the very best everyone and :fingerscrossed: for AF's and pregnancies!!
Bigglet - CONGRATULATIONS!!!!!
As I said in PM please enjoy this, you wanted so much to be pregnant and now you are! You have every right to be scared, I have known about my pregnancy for a few weeks now and I am still terrified but I keep thinking if my body wasnt ready I wouldnt have fallen pregnant. It is hard I know but its a wonderful thing to be pregnant! Especially so unexpectedly.
You are pregnant!!!! Yay!!
When are you due...?
Thanks Pebbles .... (BTW - PM? Didn't receive one? )
I don't know when I am due - have no idea how far along I am because I never had an AF after the D&C but it's been 6 weeks since the procedure so I would assume very very early stages.... maybe 4 weeks or so if that?
I'll have a better idea after I see the OB and I assume she will do an internal u/s to see - I have one of those reverse uteruses which makes it harder for u/s :o
I have very sensitive nipples (not sore boobs) but I don't know whether that has anything to do with pregnancy or whether it is just in coincidence with my little one weaning herself off me a few weeks ago and preferring the moo cow variety of milk rather than the sweet syrup of mummy milk......

Congratulations again!
Crazey Monkey - Yes I think this is a very lucky thread! Two unexpected pregnancies already!

Oh my gosh!! This is amazing!!
Now.... can there be such a thing as a false positive? Say for instance I still carried the pregnancy hormone since the miscarriage and that's why it came up positive? Can this happen?
I think if I were you I'd be going and getting bloods done asap to ease my mind one way or the other. Then you can see where your levels are at and whether it's left over or not - I dare say it wouldn't be as they should be well and truly gone by now and wouldn't be strong enough for a HPT!!
Congratulations!! I'll colour you pink unless you have any objections!
I'll be seeing the OB on the 19th - so in a few weeks. She'll do an internal u/s so we'll definately know for sure what's up there :D
I'm not very good with blood tests because most docs find it hard to get a vein out of me and I end up being a pin cushion :crying: and then it takes about a week to get the results back so I think I'll just wait until the u/s to make sure....
ohhhhhh color me pink xpectant!! It's quite nice!!

And knowing that Pebbles and Bigglet both got their BFP, I am feeling very positive that I will get my BFP too. Definitely a lucky thread.
Xpectant - you must be in DPO now?? How many days??
Bigglet - Hey there! Hope you are feeling more positive about things today. I just did a little calculation and figured out since your m/c was only 10 days after mine and they usually class the day of D&C as the first day of cycle you should be due around end of Oct. So come join us in the due in Oct thread hun! You should be about 6ish weeks pregnant.
Prudie - Yes I agree, you will get your BFP soon hun. This is a very lucky thread!

Sassy - you are so welcome here - you are just the type of person for our thread - no idea when af is going to show!! 6 weeks is a long wait - hope it ends for you soon.
Prudie - all the best for this month darl.
Rainbow - hope this weekend brings you some happiness.
Ziggy - Hormones are crazy things aren't they? All the best for a BFP soon.
Pebbles - So great to see you still hanging around us BFNs!! Let us know how the u/s goes!!
Thanks for asking about me girls - you are so sweet. As this is my first cycle back - not too sure of o date. But as I said in an earlier post (you girls mustn't have read it) I am predicting af/bfp anywhere from the Sunday coming to the Sunday after. Not sure when I'm going to test. Maybe the Saturday? I sort of have a feeling af is going to show - don't know why and I hope not.

Ziggy - better luck next month... those hormones are horrible things, I hope they don't keep you down too long...
Well, I still have AF, and its been a little heavier than normal but this afternoon, seems to have slowed right down... I know I was looking forward to it coming but now I just want it to finish... Still haven't decided if we are going to TTC straight away or not... Guess I have a couple of weeks to decide...
This has been one lucky thread, so :fingerscrossed: the BFP's continue to roll in...
Pebbles and Bigglet, please continue to drop in and let us know how your going... You guys will inspire us with your positive vibes...:hugs:

Wanted to ask all of you experienced TTCers a TMI question. If we bd & the cervix is very high & soft (god this is so embarrasing) then does that mean that I was ovulating or close to it?
Have to let this out & you girls are so lovely & supportive, hope you dont mind.
I feel like utter cr@p at the moment :gloomy: So teary, just cant be happy. I have had AF type feeling for 3 days, my lower back is sore & I just feel yuck. I want to curl up in a ball & sleep but DH is at work & chose to work on his day off too. I have no-one who can watch MJ so I can rest.
I had a dream this morning that I went to the drs, did a pg test (urine) & got a really dark BFP. I want to think thats a good sign, but I also dont want to set myself up for dissapointment. I'm too scared to test.
I just dont know what to do anymore :gloomy:

RB - :hugs: .... I don't know what to say in answer to your question because I don't know about cervix being high and soft? Can you feel it? But hope you feel better soon....
Prudie - good luck and happy BD'ing and hope you get a sticky one. man I can't even believe I am even writing this stuff down!! :o
As for me.... I don't feel great.... been having stomach cramps and lower pains that come and go.... bit like feeling constipated..... do you think this is normal?

Hi Girls
Had a horrible day at work today but I got some good news this morning so I am happy. Button is a healthy 8.8mm long (from crown to rump) and has a nice strong heartbeat. My HCG level is 66,600 (it was 39,000 less than a week ago) so that explains why I have got so much m/s. And my progestorone is 54 which apparently is good. I am very relieved. I feel so much better now. :smiliedance:
I have gone up a bra size and I am finally starting to pop out a bit.
So apart from :barf: every couple of hours I feel great!
Xpectant - Good luck for Sat if you decide to test...
Crazy Monkey - I promise I will keep dropping in and keeping you guys updated.
RB - Oh hun so sorry you are feeling so crappy.:hugs: I have everything :fingerscrossed: that you will get a BFP real soon!
Prudie - Oh I hope you catch that eggie mate!
Bigglet - I have little niggling cramps atm and I know my bub is healthy right now so I reckon its pretty normal. Are you tired?
:smiliedance: Yay Pebbles Yay!!
Once you are able to see a heartbeat they say that the chances of miscarrying greatly drop so yay!!! :fingerscrossed:
I'm so happy for you.....
Yup am tired but that's coz work is stressful :p
But the cramps can be painful :(

:smiliedance: Pebbles thats fantastic news... So happy that bubs is healthy and I hope the m/s gets better for you soon...
Bigglet - Thanks. I think stress might be getting to you hun. I just googled cramps in early pregnancy and it says it can be perfectly normal. Why dont you see your doc if you are worried, maybe you can get a BT done to see what your hormone levels are. That will tell you if the baby is ok or not.
CM - Thanks heaps!

CONGRATS Pebbles!!! woohoo!!!! :smiliedance::smiliedance: heres to a wonderful healthy nine months!!!
The doctor is reluctant to do a blood test on me because they have such a hard time finding a vein that I end up being a pin cushion for them - I have an appointment with my OB on the 19th so I guess I will have an internal u/s then and find out for sure.
Good luck everyone and hope to see you all join Pebbles and myself with all your positives :fingerscrossed:
Bigglet - Oh you poor thing. I have heard how painful it can be when they cant find your vein. Apparently I have perfect veins for BT's, everytime they wrap that strap around my arm my little veins pop straight up as if they are excited about being jabbed!
Ahhh Pebbles - lucky you..... yes finding a vein can be painful and even when they get one sometimes the vein just collapses or not enough blood comes out - it's like they shrink in fear or something :D
The worst is when they can't find a vein and resort to getting one from my wrist or hand.... now that hurts!!!
Or after my m/c and I had soooo many bruises from the needles that the were resorting to further up the arm or any vein they could even attempt to grab!
Bigglet - OUCH! That sounds awful. When I had my D&C I had to have the needle with the drip in my hand. Where they had that needle was painful for at least a week after the operation. I couldnt imagine having to have BT's done in my hand!
Crazy Monkey
07-03-2007, 20:56
Doesn't sound like fun Bigglet... I can understand why you would be putting off getting a blood test... I hate the needle in the hand... had it when I had DS and after D&C and couldn't wait for the nurses to take it out... Begged them actually, both times, they said I had to pee before they could take it out... was never so excited after peeing...

Hi ive been trying to fall pregnant since 2000 i had a little boy in 2003 but he passed away 15 mths later from brain damage so ive been trying since i had him in 2003 and still no signs of falling pregnant.
Ive been diagnosed with pcos and didnt get m/c for about 1 year and then i went to natrapath and he told me to stay off wheat because it creats the cysts and to loose about 5 kilo so i did that and now i have regular periods the only thing i get them for about 6 - 7 weeks at at time and now i went to gyno and the last gyno i saw put me on clomid (before the natrapath) and that **** sent me loopy and now i am on diaformin ! does any one know whether that is a good med for becoming fertile
thanks xoxoxo
Emmanuel - Welcome and so terribly sorry for your loss. I couldnt imagine going through what you have been through.
I too have PCOS. I was diagnosed with it last year after trying for my 2nd child for over a year. My cycles were also 7 -8 weeks long which was awful. And they figured out I was not ovulating on my own. My FS gave me a 2% chance of ever falling pregnant naturally and put me on Clomid, it did the same thing to me (made me nuts) but I stuck with it and I was lucky enough to fall pregnant first cycle on it. Unfortunately at 8 weeks I had a miscarriage (m/c) and had to have a D&C.
I waited for my period (AF) to come back after m/c but it never did and a couple weeks ago I found out I am pregnant again! I did it naturally! So dont give up hope!
I dont know anything about Diaformin but maybe the girls in the PCOS section will know more.
I just wanted to say GOOD LUCK and I hope your get your BFP really soon hun!

Bigglet, I have good veins, but I did have a dr at the hospital after the mc do a blood test from my hand for some stupid reason  That is so painful
I feel a bit better, funny since I was awake all night with indigestion. I decided to buy a HPT.......but I got it off Ebay. It was cheaper & it means I have to wait till it arrives to test

Prudie, I still have AF... Its been a little strange... Had it heavy for a couple of days then yesterday was nearly non existent and now its fairly light...
Crazy Monkey - know what you mean actually. AF was "normal" last week, and by Saturday had gone (ie no need for tampon/pads). But on Tuesday this week, AF returned - not red though, more dark brown in colour and light (only need to wear liners). Same thing happened after d&c...WEIRD :detective:
But will still start using OPKs from tomorrow to try and work out when I will O - cycle is still a bit airy fairy, so might be using OPKs for 10 days before I get a +OPK!!!!
It's all fun and games isn't it???

RB - Good luck with your test... arrghhh the wait!!! Will have to find out over the weekend what it is!!!
CM - Sounds like it's near the end so yay...!
How's everyone else doing? It's been great just reading all your posts and waiting.... we have been playing the waiting game for so long haven't we?
Hi everyone! I've been offline for a while - my internet connection died.
Well AF turned up for me last Friday. The good news is that it was on CD39. A big improvement on the 53 days from the previous cycle! So I'm going to plug on with naturally TTC.
Having said that, AF turning up hit me harder this month than ever before. I thought I was doing so well and then bang. Thinking about it I should have expected it. The baby I miscarried would have been due last Saturday (day after AF arrived). On top of that, I had a niece arrive on 22 Feb and another one due on 11 Mar.
And the final straw was that another S-I-L announced she is pregnant again last week. She fell pregnant the first month I started TTC. Her son is now 8 months old and she gets to have another one.
Sorry to bring such a depressing tone to this otherwise lucky threat - I just can't seem to cheer myself up this week :crying:

Well, AF turned up so another month of TTC for me. When you think you're life is hard, there is always someone out there who's got it even tougher. I am thankful that I know we can fall pg - just hope one will stick.
Thanks girls - it is nice knowing that you guys won't think I'm crazy. Most of the time I'm able to keep pretty rational about it all. But sometimes I just get sick of no one else realising how big a deal it is to me.
I'm off to Melbourne this week for a break. I can't wait! And I am going to go nuts on the wine and cheese, and buy some really tight jeans. I've been putting off buying jeans for a year and a half in case I had to buy maternity jeans. Now I've realised that's just really sad and I should stop walking around in these daggy worn out things!
Hi Girls
I just wanted to check in and see how my TTC after M/C girls are doing...?
Xpectant - So sorry you got your AF again hun. Good luck for the next cycle!
Lorren - Hehe, chances are you will just go out and buy some great ultra tight gorgeous designer jeans that you just want to live in and then you will get UTD! Its always the way!
Bigglet - Hows ya bubba doing hun?
Good Morning Ladies - hope you all had a lovely and relaxing weekend. New week ahead which will bring us our AF/O/BFP depending on what stage you're at.
Me, I'm waiting to O - any day now as I'm on CD13. Haven't had any EWCM or +OPK, but am checking everyday.
Xpectant - sorry to hear AF showed up. Fingers crossed for next month - which will mean a New Year baby!! ;)
Pebbles & Bigglet - how are the bubs going? Hope you're not experiencing too much m/s - then again, I guess it's a good sign!!
Crazy Monkey - the last of my brown discharge ended last Friday - one week after AF "finished". :detective:
Lorren - good luck with the jeans shopping!! Am sure you will look hot to trot in them
Prudie - Oh I hope your get that +OPK soon!
Ummm bubs is ok at the moment. She is making me sick every single day. All day. I am going to my Doc on Friday so I might end up being put on medication but as you said Prudie - M/S is a good sign.
Wednesday is my last BT done by my FS and then if all is well (which I am sure it will be :fingerscrossed: )they let me go off on my own. Like a little baby bird being pushed out of the nest!
Hey all.... hope you are all well
Ahhh Pebbles - it's so cute how you already call your bub a her :D but hope you feel better soon.
As for me - I don't really have any symptoms except for waking in the middle of the night to pee but I don't know whether it is pregnancy related or just because I have a weak bladder :o
I really hope I don't have another m/c but I'm not getting attached to bub (if there is one) just yet until I get a confirmation - next Monday I will have a scan and then will be able to tell you all!
I sometimes wonder whether I really should have waited for AF first before trying so as to give my body a break but I _just_ couldn't wait! :p
I dunno what to say or do if I do m/c though....
Crazy Monkey
12-03-2007, 11:07
Xpectant... so sorry AF turned up for you... All the best for next month and a BFP...
Lorren... I hope you get a great pair of jeans that you will only be able to wear for the shortest time... Hope a BFP comes you way soon too...
Pebbles... great to hear things are going well... Not good about the M/S, but its a good sign... Hope it doesn't get stay bad for too much longer...
Prudie... hope you catch the egg this month... Sounds like your close... Enjoy the BDing... :p
Bigglet... I'm a firm believer in everything happens for a reason... If your body wasn't ready for a bubs, I don't think you would have fallen pregnant so soon after your MC... Positive thinking is a powerful thing...
We as for me, nothing has changed... AF has finished and still decided on whether to TTC this month or wait a couple...
Hope everyone else is well, and sorry if I missed anyone...
xoxox
Good morning all,
Yep, I'm wearing my old jeans today and I am getting most excited about buying some new ones - even if it's only for a month! Anyways they would be a good incentive to have after a baby to get back into shape.
Bigglet - please don't worry about falling pregnant so quickly. I personally know two girls who fell pregnant 2 weeks after their D&Cs and both had healthy bubs. Your body was obviously ready and raring to go!
It took me 13 weeks to get AF back after my D&C, so I had a clear sign that my body wasn't ready. So Crazy Monkey and the other girls that are trying to decide whether to start TTC again - I reckon if you have AF back within a 'normal' time frame (up to 6 weeks) then you're good to go!
I like hearing those stories - the ones where people have experienced a m/c and then have fallen pg straight afterwards. Gives me lots of confidence that my time will come sooner rather than later.
It's been almost 8 weeks since my d&c and I can't believe I am here waiting to O so we can BD like crazy again. 7 weeks ago, I never thought i'd get to this stage again - as strong as I was trying to be back then, I was still in shock that I'd lost my baby...and to think about TCC all over again was too much.
But, here I am...here we all are :)

Crazey Monkey - Thanks! Yes it is a good sign. I dont mind having m/s I just wish it wasnt so bad and all day long.
Bigglet - I agree with the girls. If your body wasnt ready it wouldnt have fallen pregnant. And peeing in the middle of the night is a big sign. I am 8 weeks pregnant and I pee in the middle of the night sometimes 5 times!

Hi ladies
Sorry I've been MIA. I have had my parents living with me for the last 3 weeks. Well I'm joining this group again as a TTC after a M/C.
I've been lying low too because of the m/c. I'm on CD 23 again now. I got my :bfp: on the 13th of Feb (CD31) but I started bleeding on the 18th (CD 36).
So I'm on the waiting game again but DH and I have decided that we are just going to play it by ear and just enjoy each other and not get wrapped up in TTC. I'm going to lurk with you guys though.

Prudie - Hope you catch the pg bug this month!
Lorren - have fun shopping darl!!

Pebbles - I hope you get some relief from the m/s soon.
Bigglet - It must be so hard for you, having to delay your excitement while you wait to see what's going on. I'm praying for a healthy little blob!!
So me, I'm just waiting the af week out. She's been quite good so far - pain killers for only one day!!
Hey Guys,
Im still around, I cant remember if I posted in this section or trying for #2. AF arrived last month on the 13th but my cycles have been all over the place like they arrived 1st Dec, 7th Jan, 13th Feb so I guess mine could arrive from around the 19th -20th if they come, fingers crossed they dont as we have been doing a lot of bedding.
I'll let you know how we go. It was our 2nd wedding anniversary on the 5th and I was meant to ovulate around then according to the ovulation tests etc so would make a great belated anniversary present.
I wish everyone all the best & hope we all get our :bfp: soon.

I havent really posted in this group as i only had a m/c 3 weeks ago but am a bit frustrated so I am hoping that those of you that have had your period again can shed some light on the situation for me.
3 days ago I had a bit of spotting and then nothing since then - this never happens to me, when I normally get my period I go from nothing to heavy instantly
has anyone spotted for ages before they got there period back
if it isnt my period do you think it is something left over from the m/c?
Mumtobe82 - Sorry to hear about your m/c - sending you some :hugs:
I had a m/c in January and after the initial bleed had stopped (about a week after the d&c), I had a few days of nothing and then noticed a brown discharge (not heavy) for another week. Figured this was the "leftover" from the m/c. AF arrived 6 weeks after the d&c.
Am now waiting to O - am on CD14, so it can't be far off...can it??? Waiting, waiting....

mumtobe - glad to see you back. Could the spotting be ovulation bleeding or implantation bleeding. My cycles have been so wacky since the m/cs. Hope things sort themselves out soon.
Prudie - i hate waiting!!!
Missty - all the best for a BFP!!

14-03-2007, 09:44
I would love it to be either ovulation or implantation but dont want to get my hopes up. Since that one night of spotting I have had nothing so it is really frustrating.
I just want my period to come if that is what it is so i can move on - I hate waiting which is why this ttc thing is going to kill me
with ds I fell pregnant after 4 months (1st month of charting) and with the latest pregnancy was also 1st month
but I doubt I will get that lucky again...
Just reporting in for the day.

Hiya Ladies,
I am back, finally. Our computer decided that the power supply didn't want to work anymore so I have been having withdrawals as I have not been online for over a week, I think!! Sheesh, felt like years.
So many new faces here!!! Will have to go back and read all the posts properly to see how all the newbies and us not so newbies are all going. I see some of us are coloured pink WOO HOO to Bigglet, Pebbles and Linkey.....hope there will be more soon.
I am so excited..........wait for it.........COLOUR ME RED!! Yay, AF arrived on Sunday with a vengeance, but I was SO happy to see her!! Still have her slightly at the present time, but it is slowing down a lot to what she was at the start. REALLY heavy. I had been told this can be the case after D&C. So, now the countdown to the big O!! Should be around the 24th of this month and we are on our 6 days off from work so I told DH to rest up for a week beforehand LOL!! :fingerscrossed: To all of us who are TTC this month.

Having an fustration moment....:banghead: Especially as I am heading interstate for work on Sunday, and will be away from DH for a couple of days....so if I miss that tiny, minute, little O window, i am going to spew.

Hi ladies,
Just popping in to see how we are all going. Hubby and I went to the chemist warehouse today to check out their pregnancy vitamins and stuff. Ended up buying another Digital OPK kit!! Not that I am anxious or anything......LOL!! Cannot wait. Will start to test on Wed morning for LH levels and go from there. Hopefully will be ovulating when I think, should be Sat or Sun so DH will be a busy man.
Was checking out the Blackmores Preg and Breastfeeding Gold which I already have. They were selling the 180 cap bottle for about $34. With this one you take 2 caps a day. They also had Elevit for 49.00 for 100 caps which you take one a day. Do any of you know which would be the better one? Will use all my Blackmores first but had heard that Elevit is better. Not sure whether to change to this after I finish the others. Let me know what you think anyway.
Ok, hope all is good with all you lovely lucky ladies with :bfp:. Hope to be joining you soon. But hopefully not on my own, would love to have others join me as well. Take care ladies.

depending on who you speak to depends which one is better when i was pregnant with ds I tried blackmoresand elevit but they both made me sick, so i ended up taking cenovis.
but with my m/c I was taking fefol and had no reaction to it.
take whichever one you are comfortable with meaning, the cost and if it you feel ok taking it etc...
good luck with your ttc'ing

I am (and did with DS) just take a folate supplement from the chemist... I bought the blackmores (think they were blackmores) tablets, but I just couldn't swallow them, they're too big... When I fell pregnant the 2nd time (the m/c) I had low iron so was put onto a iron supplement as well...
I personally don't think it really matters as long as you are getting enough folate...

Hi Belle99
in other posts around here other women have experienced spotting when period is due, I ahve never had that but I hope that is all it is.
it has been 4 weeks since i miscarried and no period!!! everytime I go to the toilet I expect to see something but there is nothing!
And to top it off I have just got home from my DS's swimming and out of the 6 mums, ones is pregnant, another going for a blood test to confirm she is pregnant and the others are trying.
I just stood there pretending to not hear what they were talking about, what would i say 'well I was pregnant but hey things happen..."
I am feeling a bit down now...

I feel fine though Im not worrrying yet... well, yeah maybe cause last month we did it EVERY day! so I'm not a good catcher, gotta keep practising. Maybe cause I came off the pill only a few months ago:thumbsdown:

Hi Mum to Be
I am sorry for your loss. I have worked for women who have miscarried a few times and when one lady was talking about it I got so upset. nothing compared to what she was feeling.
You are lucky you have a beautiful son.
FINALLY I am Oing!!!!
I got EWCM on Sunday night/Monday morning and then +OPK yesterday.
It's been a looooog wait (m/c was back in January), but I am feeling good...
Will keep everyone posted....

Yes Prudie, it is such a wonderful feeling to be back to normal. Well, as normal as I can be anyway LOL!! I am feeling really positive about the next few months. I really want to fall this cycle, but if not, well then there is always next cycle. Saying that, this cycle would be so much better LOL!! I have even worked out if we get a positive this time I will be due around the 15th Dec!!! Didn't know about having a Xmas baby, but I think I just want a bub so bad I am not going to worry about when anymore. I try not to worry about my age creeping up, but it is hard sometimes. Will cross the testing bridge when I get to it I spose. I WANT TO BE IN THE TWW TOO!!!
XXX
Yep, when I started the whole TTC journey, I wasn't too keen on having a Christmas Baby either....but after the m/c all that's changed...now I just want a baby....pretty please with a cherry on top.
Hi everyone!
I'm back from my week's holiday to Melbourne. Had a great time - shopped like mad! I'd been putting off buying clothes (waiting to be pregnant) so went a bit nuts. It felt good!
I can't believe how lucky this thread has been!! I am definitely hanging around so it can rub off on me too.
Surprise, surprise I am waiting... waiting... Gee what a change ;)
At the moment I am waiting for O. I'm on CD 21 at the moment. I've even got Fertility Friend confused - it has claimed I was ovulating on several different dates but keeps changing its mind. So I'm trusting my own instinct and think it's going to happen in the next couple of days. Here we go again!

Well guys onto another new cycle for me. AF showed this evening so I've got my :fingerscrossed: that for my DS first bday I can make him a big brother, my test date will be the day of his first bday party 22/4.
Lorren glad you enjoyed your time away.
How is everyone else going?

Hi girls!
Amy W - glad to hear your cycle has started again.
Prudie - Yay for o!!
Mumtobe- she's gotta come soon doesn't she?? I want you red/pink now!!
Lorren - good on you for shopping! If that doesn't bring a BFP I don't know what will!!
1st Time - it's crazy that we work out our due dates before we're even pg!! I've only just started doing it - I'll be due around Dec 11!!
Missty - what's going on with you - we need to colour you red/pink - hopefully the latter!!
Crazymonkey & everyone else - I want to see some BFP's!!!
Me - well, I'm not sure what's going on. I've been temping on FF this cycle - and my temps don't look like I o at all!! So don't know what the deal is. My CM is all over the place - somedays I'll have some and others nothing. But, we'll see what happens.

Hi girls,
Its been a little while since I've posted here but I have been checking in to see how everyone is doing...
Nothing new to report here... Not much DB happening here and pretty sure we missed the big O... Thinking the month of April will be out for a BFP, as my DH is busy with the Comedy festival and I'm not expecting to see him very much...
So I'm looking at May as the month to try and catch the egg...
Hope everyone is well and that the BFP come flying through for everyone soon...

Hi ladies,
Just checking in to see how we are all going. Nearly all red!! Missty and mumtobe82 how are you two faring? Any signs of anything? :fingerscrossed: you will be joining us in the red soon. I have put myself down for testing on the 15th of April!! That is a week after AF is due. If AF doesn't turn up that is.....my OB told be to try to hold off for a week before testing just in case of a chemical pregnancy. Does'nt want me to set myself up for another disappointment. I really hope I can hold out for that week. :hugs: to you all and I hope all is well.

Hey Nita and girls!!
I am 8DPO and am waiting to test this weekend - will be 13DPO on Sunday, and that's when I got my last BFP.
Have been experiencing lots of twinges/uncomfortableness in my abdomen, but not sure if it's pg or AF related - AF is due on Monday, so I guess we will see!!!
Biggest give away last time was the sore bbs, but I haven't had that at all. Every pregnancy is different I guess???

Hi all,
Sorry i have been a bit distant this month for some reason i don,t think i have o'ed yet. Af is due on the 3 april. So i am in the ttw but my temps have not yet confirmed o!. Last cyle was a bit crazy though, af arrived five days early and i o'ed very early in my cycle so i don't know. She only hung around for four days too instead of seven! I have had lots of scattered cervical mucas this month but no constant temp rise. So we just bd'ed all over the place weird!!!!. Hope every one is well and hope to see lots of :bfp: this month xxx All the best every one

Hi girls!
Ist time... - Oh my gosh!! How are you going to wait a whole week after AF is due! It's obviously the most sensible thing to do but... :fingerscrossed: it's a BFP!!
Prudie - sunday is not far away!! it's hard when af & pg symptoms are so similar. All the best for the testing!!
ziggy - have you tried recording your temps on fertility friend - I've done this for the first time and noticed mine were all weird but ff seemed to pick an o date - soon see how accurate it is. Hope a BFP comes your way!
mumtobe - here's a :hugs: . I'm so sorry she hasn't shown up yet. Remember the days when we wished she'd never show!!
Me - I'm about 5DPO according to FF. So, I may test Easter Sat/Sun - see what happens. I love this thread - I really miss it when we're all quiet. I can't seem to gel with some of the other threads.

No changes with me... I''m expecting AF to arrive on the weekend, thats if my cycle is back to normal... At the moment, think we are still planning on waiting until May before TTC... Hopefully I will be UTD first try but I'm not going to expect too much...
Xpectant - all the best for testing over Easter... I hope the easter bunny bring you a BFP...
Prudie - good luck for Sunday... I'll be checking in to see a BFP has been posted for you...
1st Time - what a wait you have before you can test... All the best and I have my fingers crossed for you...
Ziggy - Hopefully all your 'wierd' BD was on the right day and a BFP will be coming your way soon...
Mumtobe - I hope AF arrives soon... I remember how horrible the wait is for the 1st AF...:hugs:
Sorry if I missed anyone - hope everyone is blessed with a BFP (or AF if you're still waiting) very soon...

Xpectant - I know what you mean, I love this thread too. We have all been through so much together and I feel a real connection to you all. You all must think I'm some kind of weirdo when I start talking about "feeling connected" but it's true (the connection bit, not the weirdo bit  !!)
In fact, I was reading the Support After Pg Loss thread the other day, and there is a section there titled D&C and one of the messages was from one of the m/c in Jan girls and I almost started crying because I thought she had m/c again!! Thankfully she was only replying to the thread and sending her support for the author. I was so relieved.
Isn't is strange to think that we have all connected so closely and we've never met face to face. Gosh, it's getting late and I'm starting to get all philosophical...I really should go to bed!!

ziggy - I just read someone's post about nausea and ovulation - maybe that's you!?
Crazy - hope AF comes on time so everything will be set up for may!!
I am so annoyed. I just entered in todays temp on FF and now my o date has moved and I BD at all the wrong times. I don't understand it all. It was less stressful before FF!!
Hi Girls
Just thought I would pop in and give you's all some support.
Nice to see that you all seem to be moving along nicely. Especially since most of you have your AF's back now thankfully.
To those that dont have AF back yet, I really hope it comes soon. I know how frustrating that wait can be!
To those that are waiting to test GOOD LUCK! I have everything :fingerscrossed: for you guys!
Xpectant - I never used FF, had a look at it once but it was so frustrating and confusing that I decided not to worry bout it. Especially since my cycles were all over the place anyways. I hope that you caught that eggie despite what FF has to say!
Well my update is that my little Button is doing well. We saw her again on an u/s on Monday this week and she is perfect. 3.2cm long and lovely little heartbeat. I was 11 weeks yesterday so only one week to go until I am over the 12 week mark. Bring on the 2nd trimester! My m/s is still pretty awful. I am still :barf: every day and feeling very nauseous all the time. But I keep reminding myself, its all for a good cause!
Hope everybody has great days today!

Still no AF but I am starting to feel like it is on its way - so hopefully I am right and then when this one is down I can see if my cycle is back and then start trying again.
I agree isnt it funny that this must be the only other time we want to get AF (first is your first period and then maybe if you dont want to pregnant... never happened to me but I know people that have been scared...)
DS is keeping me on my toes at the moment so have not been able to stress to much, I am not looking forward to the terrible two's as he has already worked out how to throw a tantrum:banghead:
the those in the tww I hope it works out for you:fingerscrossed: :fingerscrossed:
