How Often did you *boink* for a BFP?

Hee hee, sorry I couldn't help saying 'boink', it is so highschool!

I am currently TTC and was just curious how often you guys BD'ed in order to get your BFP's? Like every day, every second day. CD9-17 etc etc.

We did it every day around the week of Ov. we do it every 2nd day anyway so we thought it would happen sooner or later. We were very luck and fell pg 2nd month of TTC!!

yep both cycles we got BFPs, we were BDing every day from AF being over till ovulation was confirmed :yes:

We boinked (he he :laughing: ) the 2 nights before ovulation and the night afterwards and got a :bfp: this month!!

First bub, everyday, we were like rabbits then anyway.

Second bub, tried for two months. First month tried to get girl, so boinked cd 9 and 10, no luck with that.

Next month boinked everyday from CD 9 through to about CD 19, i dont chart so not actually sure when i O.

Sometimes DH just isn't up to the challenge unfortunately. We did put in a good effort this cycle though (every day [woohoo] from CD8-15) I get a bit frustrated getting knocked back though - I can't say it has EVER happened to me before :(

DD was a happy accident so couldn't really tell you what happened with her.

DS was planned and we did it ONE time, the day I was ovulating. That's it, that's all it took. A week and a half later I took a test and BFP. He was pretty easy :laughing:

Last mth we hardly boinked at all, and when we did it was after I would've o'd if I o'd halfway through the pregnancy, so I was pleasently shocked when we found out I was preg :smiliedance:

After trying for over two years this month was going to be a rest we were on holidays and I had the worst case of thrush ever sorry TMI and honstly we bd maybe 4 times the whole month maybe once around ovulation so I was in complete shock when I got a positive.

With DS it was every day for a month (had no idea about tracking cycles then)

After 9 months of trying we sought help. We were supposed to do it every day from day 9 to 19... we didn't quite manage to do it every day as DS was sick and it was xmas time and super busy but we did do it 4 times in that time. I then had a blood test on CD23 and got a phonecall the next day from OB saying to BD because I was ovulating so we did it CD24 and :smiliedance: it worked.

Our Fertility Specialist recommends every second day, most of the sperm will survive in there for a couple of days anyway (yes even up to 5 days but you have to doubt many would be left after that!) And you dont want to wear each other out too much or use up all those good spermies too soon!

We BDd 2 days before, the day of and the day after O. (O would have been very late at night at a guess from when I had my trigger injection).

AF is due Sunday, I had a :bfn: this morning so I am assuming the wench will arrive on schedule :( So I had best be psyching myself up for some BD action for next month!
I think starting Vitex altered my cycle from what it normally is. I am usually a CD14 O girl through and through but have a snaeking feeling it was later this cycle and I stopped BDing at CD15 except for a quick CD18 romp so that is how I missed it this month.
I *may* use OPK's next cycle just to be sure when I O, I didnt this cycle so I wouldnt be too obsessed with it all.

We didn't really change our usual, which is a couple of times/week, just tried to BD around the time of ovulation, and after only three months, we got :bfp:
