:smiliedance: Please help!

My little bub is 4 months old and has started squirming a great deal at night, in his sleep. I am breastfeeding. I wonder if there is anyone out there who is experiencing the same problem? What did you do?

hi matt's mum! my little one is 3mths old and since he was about 2mths he started doing the same thing, would squirm and grunt whilst passing wind in his sleep, I would hear this going on in the bassinette next to me, cute, but not so comfortable for him!! :crying: Since he was born he always farted a lot but it seemed to be getting worse. It got to the point where he would wake up from the pain screaming, at this point I tried a few things from the chemist (gripe water, braurers colic relief) but have found infants friend works the best for my baby, he still passes a lot of wind but without the pain. I also rub his stomach in a clockwise direction and move his legs like he is riding a bike daily and that also helps release the wind too. Since he has been using infants friend he hasn't had an episode since, nothing like before, but it's trial and error to see what works best for your baby ...... hope this helps!:fingerscrossed:

Yes same here. My 5 month old is breastfed and squirms and wakes up alot during the night.

I co-sleep with him so I either pick him up and pat him back off to sleep or I just stick my boob in his mouth and hope that helps the wind pass.

It gets very tiring doesn't it??
